whats goin on here?



this is a screenshot from my mod, its a window... but why is it black? the model is blue and gray (2 diff skins) and both show up as black, even on no transparancy. anyone know why?[/img]

Probably because it's stuck in that crevasse. Quake lights models by looking down from the model's origin until it hits the ground and reading from the lightmap where the point hits. If you're using DarkPlaces try using EF_FULLBRIGHT on the window's .effects, or colour the skin with a fullbright colour?

Usually people will use brushes for windows, not models...

i tried to use a brush but didnt work lol, ya that owuld make more sense. i think i got it fixed now tho thanks!
