Be careful to include tht "www" part. Some of the sites are really picky about that when used in a Google Co-op search module.

Very random and probably half of them are dead by now Sad

http://www.quaddicted.com/temp/randomlinks.txt

There might be unrelated stuff inside, you better check manually which ones you want.
Many URLs that are about Quake but the rest of the site is not.

Wow Shocked
I haven't seen some of those sites in years! I can't believe that some of them are still up.

Thanks. I don't think the search gizmo can resolve a php directive, but I've got thefatal up there.

BTW, telefragged sites might be good candidates for archival.

Although you no doubt have different goals, a lot of very specific modding resource links can be found at (it's not everything but meant to focus on high quality resources for most important topics ... at the expense of high detail).

I have no idea the Quake search goals you have, but don't forget Chip's archive which no doubt you have not.

With dissapointing slow speed due to current job projects I keep filtering mods and sort them out in order to add them to my repository.

Found some new ones there, thanks. Got Chip's.

The goal is for the search to hit all the Quake 1 stuff, error on the side of too much. High sloppiness will still be highly superior to a "raw" Google search.

The search is online! See "Search Quake 1 sites" on the right side of my site.
