scar3crow: Yeah I'm a huge fan of the hybrid mode as well, I literally spent about 45 minutes just looking at some of the weird things it can produce. As for more meaningful names, that'll come later, there's a lot of basic systems that need work first.
leileilol: This is using a faked terminal so none of that needs anything weird to produce, I'm using a library by the name of libtcod (offers 24-bit color range and way too much to list more). That's also how I did the custom Q in there. |

Finally got the oil drum carried/weapon model showing, and positioned it about right. Eradicated most of the bugs involved in placing the pickup/explode-able drum and pretty much timed it ok with the removal of the 'weapon' version.
Next I need to slow down the player movement when carrying the oil drum as its meant to heavy, plus setting traps and positioning them where they will do the most damage needs to have some tension and time pressure associated with it.

I can't design anything space worthy if my life depended on it. Very disappointed with it, but hell, it's only for a prototype gamemode. Needed to do some research, but I was on a tight 12 hour deadline to make the art, so I just went with what I thought looked 'cool'. Which failed me. _________________ Working on Solitude |

It would probably look a lot better if it was flat-shaded... _________________ F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe. |

Not a bad looking attack fighter / bomber. I'd recommend making the wings non-hollow in the centers though, that might help with the...well...you know...the effect that GiffE mentioned. _________________ "Roboto suggests Plasma Bazooka." |
