I guess the first one is the ONE. Could you please post links to them? I'll try to mirror the first one on QuakeWiki.net. That is, if no copyright issue arises.

Yes, I think it's the first one. But I'd be grateful for both links. Good idea to post links on QuakeWiki, Chip. Everybody should have acces to them:).

I have uploaded the versions i have here:

http://zerror.com/mods/sosueme/

a word of warning: probabbly my version is modified or as a ugly config file, and stuff, if you have other zip version of these mods, ignore this ones. Also, mirror this thing, I will delete the copy with no warning.

So er, have these terrible illegal projects been burned at a stake finally? I sure hope no one will post a link to them!

I think suing people for mods was a 90's thing. Now companies are much smarter. Now, companies have learn how to instrumentalize(?) these mods for good /-:, both lawyers and PR people have a better idea of what to do with these things to protect his rights AND looks like cool people.

Also, no one is really paying attention to obscure mods. You need to do a lot of noise to get some attention from these people.

Inside3d is very safe here. Our black background protect us. Is practically impenetrable for all, but the most hardcore QuakeC programmer :-O

Anyway, I still think is a good idea to avoid movies and books.

Thanks Tei, snatched them both. I will upload them to QuakeWiki.net. It's safe for you to delete them. You don't want to get sued or something. Cool

These are files I saved:
http://www.quaddicted.com/temp/alien.rar
http://www.quaddicted.com/temp/telejano.rar
http://www.quaddicted.com/temp/textures.rar

Not sure what is in those but fallus666 released them. I'll remove them in 24 hours. Because I am low on space, not because of any legal fear. Surprised

Here is a link to the original Alien Quake, the 1.1 version which had the better models, etc. The 1.0 version just had reskinned fiends, so I recommend this one.

Yes. Sad
About 400MB left. The multiplayer maps take about 1.5GB, I will write something to weed out the crap soon.

Oh dear. I thought space wasn't an issue anymore ever since you switched hosters.
Well, let's see: considering there're around 10-15 SP releases a year, and each one is about 3 MB on average, Quaddicted should more or less be able to keep on for another ten years. Phew!

Edit: I guess you could easily free another 100MB by removing some files from the engines and tools directories, namely older builds/versions.

Nope, it was the other way around.

And no, that would defeat the whole point of an archive...
