Well.. the "normal" maps were just greyscale bump maps, which I would do anyway and specular maps were just some bunch of simple filtering layers over the diffuse.. So not much throwing away really.

Yea, sometimes when firing the weapon, it would suddenly switch back and forth to frame 0 and the frame it should play, or sometimes to a frame starting the idle sequence, frame 0 and the frame it should play... Sometimes it worked as it should. I think it got something to do with timing. If I decreased game speed, then I got no errors.
I've thought of simplifying my project a lot now. Like weapons can't be used two at one time. It was more like a cliched version of alternate fire mode. Also they can't be used right sided or left sided. The character will appear ambidextrous by using some weapon left sided and another weapon right sided.
Clothing change is probably going to be dropped too. I'll just make 3 different clothing for the 3 different player characters.
I've also thought that weapons will be centered... It's easier to aim without a crosshair that way.

Fmod has been dropped away in the latest betas. As far as I know, it was only used to play different sound formats and has nothing to do with the EAX effects. _________________ zbang! |

What level editor are you using for Doomsday then? Also, what format are your models in for it? _________________ ....noodle... |

I've been using Doom Builder. The models are in dmd, which is like md2, but they can have 4 levels of detail.
Huh, model animation has been really painful recently. 3dsmax use some Euler XYZ rotation by default. It was like this:
I say:"Clench your fingers into a fist!"
3dsmax:"How about I cross my fingers instead?"
Fortunately I found how to change it into Linear. Now I just need to fix all my models... _________________ zbang! |

I've been modeling some bunch of stuff: new weapons that are hopefully less human weapon looking.. and I modelled some texture..
These are all quite wide pics, so I'll just link to them..
Spear
Dagger
Some gun
