Hi...

I was listening some musics when my left phone channel stops working!

Well, putting the wire to another position helped, but a while after, the left channel stopped work permanently, I tried pressing the volume control, the wire, unplugging and plugging again in the sound card, but nothing helped! Crying or Very sad

Whan can I do? Buy another headphone?

I need help asap.
Thanks!

..A lot of my headphones when they do go bad in this manner where due to faulty wiring near the plug end... Its usually from getting a lot of use being bent into different positions over & over again, etc... Either you can scrap them or wire a new plug on if it is the case... Sometimes its where the speaker is wired in also...

..At least try the headphones on another appliance just to make sure its not your sound card for the hell of it...

..If there inexpensive buying another pair could be cost effective and less time consuming then a re-wire...

..I always just bent the wire in different angles from the plug until I could get it to work and then tape the wire in that position...

I had a $90 pair of earbud-style headphones. Tried to clean them once... bad idea. The left one now only plays at 25% volume.

Nothing of your ideas helped! Crying or Very sad

I tried hitting the phone with my hand, but then the sound quality is now low, and it is now playing at too low volume. Sad

I think I'll switch my headphone... I have nothing to do else.

I've tested with my earphones that I use on my MP3. Both channels worked, but the problem is that its wire is too short, I should keep my head close to the monitor, but it's a bad position.

Does a headphone have a short util life time?

I would guess some brands are more durable than others.
I lean towards Sony.
