Hi, I'm posting this here because I couldn't register to besmella-quake forums, it failed to send me an email.
Well, I use EF_BLUE and EF_RED for quad and pent effects. When I get a quad or pent the effects works fine for me, but my mod has bots, and when a bot gets a quad or pent he simply doesn't glow. What could that be?
PS: The muzzleflash works on the bots, I haven't tested dimlight, but the problem is EF_BLUE/RED. _________________ There's no signature here. Stop looking for one. |

Yeah... that's an fte client bug. Apparently.
Fixing...
Nightly builds dated 26th jan onwards should be free of this bug. I'm not sure what time the script is actually run. I might have managed to get it in in time for tonight's nightly build, but might not. Give it two days and it will definatly be updated.
Regarding besmella. They had quite a few problems with spam bots. I believe registration requires you to actually speak to one of the sites admins. And is on an invite basis... so its not that useful really for submitting bug reports. You should be able to get your account registered if you visit their irc channel.
Inside3d works too. _________________ What's a signature? |

I see.
I registered to quakeworld.nu forum and I started a topic about that bug too.
I got an answer, and that guy said:
"I noticed a commit about that last night, try to compile from SVN and see if that works."
Well, I think I have to wait. _________________ There's no signature here. Stop looking for one. |
