Is there a way to block the spammers?

There actually is already a captcha, its got that "select all power ups in the pictures below."
That script has obviously been figured out, which is why I always make my own spam bot checks. Custom ones take longer to be bypassed. _________________ http://www.giffe-bin.net/ |

How did it figure out the powerup thing? Maybe these spam accounts predate the powerup CAPTCHA? Only way it could figure out the powerup thing, I would think, is for someone to specifically write it to recognize this site's CAPTCHA. Why would anyone do that, unless they were trying to annoy someone here? Of course, there's a possibility that it's not even a bot, but an actual person making those posts. _________________ http://www.customtf.net/ |

It was able to figure it out cause inside3d uses a public script called KittenAuth. KittenAuth makes those images and as with all public captcha's they eventually get worked around by bots. _________________ http://www.giffe-bin.net/ |
