Hello.

I am a member of Flaming Ice and we are developing an Indie Game based on a Quake, called Solitude. We are planning on dev build release for December 25. We really want to have at least one dedicated server because what we are releasing is multiplayer.

We can't put up a donation link because we are under Microsoft's Game Content Usage Rules, and they already tried to get us for our last donation link we had posted.

Are there any services that offer free dedicated server hosting?

Thank you.

Why did the lead coder go to jail?

EDIT: Regarding revolude. I NEED to try it!

It looks just awesome. But the download links are dead. Anyone has them?

2ND EDIT: I found out that it's not a Quake mod. It might resemble Quake's pseudo-structure, but that's all.

No that isn't our mod.

Our mod is Solitude.

We really need to have a dedicated server ready before we release a dev build on December 25.

No one on our team has a good enough internet connection to host a public server and since I switch isps my internet connection isn't good.

something is better than nothing. also when releasing you could also release a tutorial on how to setup a dedicated server from home.
