ok, so here's a mech monster model I started tonight. The model isn't too good, I know, but the animations are fairly good. I'm looking for someone to skinmap it, and skin it. I suck at both. This would be put up as a free model project. Anyone could use it, if they so desired. (with proper credit )
thank you

I made that model VERY fast
the focus this time was on animation. My second go at animating. |

Animations are good, though it could use some landing animations to go with it's fly and flip animations.
/me looks at skinmap and dies from horror
As far as attacks, I'd recommend giving it a seeker missile 6-pack (three shots of two), and some sort of deathknight type laser spread. _________________ "Roboto suggests Plasma Bazooka." |

actually, it was just made as a quick monster that just runs fast and hurls itself at you. play the fly frames backwards for a landing after hitting something I'll make proper frames soon.
want it skinned before I move ahead with it |

interesting, my skin attempt was browner, because gray skins look too white & too out of place in game. We both love rivets though. |

How about adding some rust and general wear and tear to it? That'd brown it up a bit. |

Except that you have to keep in mind that these things are suicidal in nature, what with running at the player at high speed then leaping at them before exploding. As a result, I'd imagine that they would probably be mass-produced, and used up against earth's forces without much time to rust.
I'll download it, depending on the skinmap layout, I might do some additional skins for this bugger _________________ "Roboto suggests Plasma Bazooka." |
