If things go well, we might be less than a year away from QExpo 2008!
Seeing the relative quietness of the forums these last months, I was wondering how many of you were actually working on mods to be released for it. It would be really nice if this part of the forum buzzed with more activity, screenshots and comments during the time that separates us from the event
As far as I'm concerned, I'll be obviously working on TransloQuake and SpaceWalk but also InfraRed. Modding on the latter had been put to an almost complete stop months ago after having met some issues figuring out how to make DarkPlaces do the things I wanted it to do, but it's all fixed now, so I've been working on it again _________________ http://www.planetcocot.net/ |

It's alway been my great fear that I would show up to a QuakeExpo with the same bots as someone else _________________ F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe. |

A lot like going to an Elvis-look-alike convention and realize that you don't have the same boOts as anyone else... _________________ http://www.planetcocot.net/ |

http://quakery.quakedev.com/demo1.avi - 6.5MB, Xvid w/ mp3 audio (i think)
Sneak preview! I spent an hour or two making that mod, and about 6 hours total trying to compress the video, including an hour or two trying to get it on Youtube without it being butchered into a collage of indecipherable artifacts, with no success. Thx to leileilol for the leg model, and id software for the fists model. _________________ F. A. Hehe, it loks fun, Sajt I like the way you can push monsters into water by kicking them. I can totally imagine a DM version of this with levels of bridges and lots of lava and players trying to punch/kick other players into it _________________ http://www.planetcocot.net/ |
