For my up and coming Psp-Pc game. ( Pro Splat ) I've been wondering what engine i should use that would work on both systems. i was thinking darkplaces for pc and kurok for psp.. but the thing is i already started mapping in hl-bsp. not that it's hard to convert but would it be possible to add hl-bsp to kurok? Are there any other good quake engines on the psp? |

It depends. Do you intend releasing an engine with the game or are you just releasing PAK files? Are you targetting low end systems? High end systems? Windows? Linux? Mac? Do you want it to run in other engines too?
Since you're committing to PSP and using Kurok for that, it might make sense to also use the Kurok PC engine. That way you're on a consistent baseline for your mod and you won't have to deal with engine incompatibilities later on.
If you're developing on Linux or Mac you might also consider QuakeSpasm. That was derived from FitzQuake, the same as the Kurok PC engine, so it should make the job a mite easier. _________________ DirectQ Engine - New release 1.8.666a, 9th August 2010
