I've got converting q2 models to quake pretty well sorted, however not with their weapons intact. Is there a simple, or indeed if that's not possible, a complicated way of getting the weapons converted with them? _________________ my site |

Yes, there's a way, but it is complicated.
Tools you need:
Quark 5 (.md2 to .mdl conversion)
Q2 Modeller (This is where you do the hard work)
Some sort of graphic editing program.
Procedure:
Basically, you need to add the weapon's skin into the main model's skin using the graphic editing program, then plug it into Q2 Modeller, get the main model's skinmaps put in the proper places, then merge the weapon model, and get the weapon's skinmap in the right place as well. Additionally, you will need to edit the frames which don't normally have a gun model. (Usually the death frames) After that you convert using Quark 5. _________________ "Roboto suggests Plasma Bazooka." |

qME works for that too if you don't want to use Q2 Modeller |
