As I've said before I've been intentionally sabotaging QCCX support for some time. As a prelude to a phase out. _________________

update
well, the palfrom thing doesn't work here (I've tried every combination possible, still nothing)
so
i've put a centerprint and stuffcmd after the attacker frag count and now i get a (barely noticeable) screenflash and FRAG word when i kill someone. It's not too fancy, but I guess it'll have to do. |

If you want to use Palfrom, use it in the function Killed, which is located in combat.qc. Place it just under where clientobituary is called, put in checks to make sure that the target isn't the attacker, and make sure that the origin for the effect is attacker.origin. It should work like a charm.
Oh, and if you're still using reaperbots, make sure you put in a check to ignore applying the effect to them, otherwise something bad could happen. Frikbot does it automatically, but reapers are a different story. (I looked at reaperbots once a loooong time ago, the code scared the crap outta me, but then I found Frikbot, and have been using them quite happily ever since.) _________________ "Roboto suggests Plasma Bazooka." |

i just updated my combat.qc and FINALLY, it works!
BTW, i had to move the combat.qc under client.qc in progs.src too.
thanks Dr.Shadowborg for the tutorial and pointers and thanks everyone else for opening my eyes and saving me from the tyranny of ProQCC and Reaperbots. |
