Widest shaft or my impression?

Hi there.

I've made a QW version for my bots, and I've noticed something in EzQuake.
When I tested'em at ztndm3, when them fires the LG, their lightning shaft are widest than mine, see the shots below if is that true or it's my impression...

This also happens in CustomTF's tesla coil, the temp entity is TE_LIGHTNING2 just like the LG, but the tesla's shaft is widest too.

ugh those newfangled quakeworld clients always mess up everything eh?

i think that non-client entities fires wider shafts...

Are you talking about the glow around the lighting?

No Mega..
About the EzQuake's lightning texture itself..

In the screenshots the lightning fired by the bots are wider than the lightning fired by me. But I don't know if is an optical illusion or a bug...

It doesn't look wider at all. It's just closer to your view cause he's firing almost at your face, which obviously makes it look larger.

Well, then it's an illusion.

And in my mod I've fixed a bug that the shotgun's smoke puff don't spread... have somebody noticed that? the tracelines spreads, but the smoke puffs not. And i've fixed that.

Quakeworld always had that 'feature' for lag's sake.
