What would be the best way to attack this?
I haven't coded anything with camera view before.

Erm...
QW has an original bobbing effect.

Play around with cl_bob, cl_bobup and cl_bobcycle commands. Unless if you want to make the weapon to bob side by side, which is much harder. It's all engine code, not QC.
