Where can I get a shotgun shell.mdl?
I want to add shell casings to my mod.
I haven't seen a tutorial on it, so I'll try it on my own Smile

If you don't mind downloading 200MB just to get 28 KB of shell casings, you could get them from Nexuiz...

Otherwise, plenty of old Quake mods have them, though it might be fun finding downloads for them, for example PerQuake.

Danny's not here Mrs. Torrance...

Is that so? Razz

Finding most of the older ones is easy. Finding the more recent inbetween ones is the hard part.

How can I quickly view .mdl files outside of plugging them in the game?
I tried using FIMG but I get an error.

qME 3.0 or 3.1.

qME 3.1 trial
(trial limitation: can't save a model with over 20 frames of animation)

This is old news, but sometimes people forget that QME is now classified as abandonware... Free to download and use for non-commercial purposes... Look at Preach's Quake Expo Booth here:

http://www.quakeexpo.com/booth.php?id=32&page=79

Look down to where it says QME... Hopefully it should be straight forward to you...

Not officially. Abandonware is a bullshit excuse term. You can still buy it.
