My prefered method is somewhat low-tech, compared to the others, and only really works if there's only one or 2 additional peces of info that need to be tracked.
Create an impulse, that, when pressed, outputs the info to the console (sprint? been a while, so I can't remember). You will need to tweak the impulse system so that you can use it when not in the middle of a firing animation. |
