I find it very hard to measure distances plus there often is a delay between pressing the translocating key and the actual translocation which makes it even harder. _________________ Quake Maps |

That's a bug in the Transloquake code. It's also drops to the console with similar error messages in other maps and with other engines. IIRC, quicksaving/loading still worked fine in tq-demo2. |

Nope, that's where I first played (and ran into this) in. _________________ Quake Maps |

Yeah, sorry about that, guys. Saving has always been an issue. Quite frankly I have no idea why and my knowledge of the code is too limited to really know what to do to fix it
As far as the delay is concerned, I've been looking and couldn't really find a spot which would explain it. Between you and me, I personally don't notice it at all, but this might be because I've been playing the mod so much my brain just instinctively calculates the difference. I think after a while playing it, you should have no problem moving around (even though misses are still possible, but, hey, thats also what the game is about, after all ) _________________ http://www.planetcocot.net/ |

And in a bit of a deja-vu moment, the competition officially closes with only one entry, which thus automatically becomes our winner!
I must say that, as was the case with Entar's map, I applaud the quality of this entry and congratulate Negke (as well as thank him) for offering some of his time for this mod!
Negke: please feel free to email me or pm me in order to arrange the delivery of your prize! _________________ http://www.planetcocot.net/ |

I know I spoke of contributing, but apparently a full time job takes the fullness of your time... ...also work has a weekly trivia game, and the winner gets a free game (I got CoD5: Harvesting More Veteran Memoirs - not much of a game, but... ...I had to buy something within 30 days of winning to get it).
Congrats though negke, and commendations on contributing to CocoT's mad machinations! _________________ ...and all around me was the chaos of battle and the reek of running blood.... and for the first time in my life I knew true happiness. |
