Come on guys! Theres a bunch of Quakeheads here, yet no one plays!!!
I want to see a bunch of you on my server, so we can duke it out.

I got a bunch of different maps, pretty vanilla otherwise.
Straight up deathmatch. Lets go, this is what it's all about!

Orion, haven't seen you in a couple days. We had some good battles!

24.184.130.106:27500 is where it's at! Bring it!!!

Maps and skins located at ftp://ftp.nikon.net/ What are you waiting for?

Click on page, view this site with windows explorer to access the files.

Don't be scared, I'll take it easy on you! Wink

Abd that's where the line gets drawn. No anonymous access, and not many people dare to use a Microsoft developed FTP client.

Yeah, no success in connecting to that ftp

You could tell us what maps and such are needed and point to their locations on the shub-hub perhaps?

I connected briefly with DarkPlaces, dled 2 maps and the base.pcx from the server and ran around. Its a bit too laggy for me, considering Im used to netQuake servers rather than QW servers, but I do like that youre actually running custom maps and not just looping dm2/3/4/6 over and over.

Due to the ping, when you bump into me there, you will definitely win Im sure.

password: demotest

Oops, thanks Orion.

Yeah, too many maps to list. I like seeing different maps all the time.
Try typing it in instead of clicking on the link. It should work.

I'm usually on in the PM, New York time. Surprised

Is a site to upload quake files...
You can zip all maps you use and upload'em to Shub-Hub..

The address is shub-hub.quaddicted.com.
To upload a file, click on login and the password is ilovetheshubhub.

Just so you know, quaddicted/shub-hub probably already has all the maps... More than likely at least, Spirit has a ton of maps.

But I'll nab the files from your ftp now that the info is up.

Maps are now available on the shub-hub.
File name: spisi's maps.zip Smile

Come and enjoy nearly 100 different maps!

Guys, I need help again.

After getting my butt whipped br some overly-experienced players.
I realized that the Quakeworld v 2.33 client may not be the best.
I downloaded FuhQuake, seems to be more updated. Only one problem.
In 2.33, I use FOV 100, which makes your weapon disappear. I'm used to not seeing the weapon.
In FuhQuake, using FOV 100 the weapon is visible. How can I disable it?

Thanks in advance.

I honestly dont know anything about FuhQuake, when I do play QW (Im mostly a NQ player) I use DarkPlaces or FTE. Spirit would be a good person to bug (runner of quaddicted and the shub-hub) since I know hes primarily a QW player.
