What's up? Is it down temporarily, or has dear Error deserted us?! D:

it was moved to quakedev, then uploading never worked, and the other archive maintainers never got ftp access, leaving frolicking activity of the archive down to an all time low of 0% ever since.

The two people that have access, me and Error, are apparently really busy. I'd suggest getting access for more people, but it's really Error's baby, so yeah.

I noticed it only accepts small files, on quakedev. Larger files time out Sad

Someone poke Echon in the ribs

Maybe an anonymous INCOMING ftp is more useful than php uploading. Make it work like the 'classic' idgames mirroring system.

- Anonymous users can upload to /INCOMING but can not see or access other files currently in it
- Archive maintainers verify files of warez/copyright infringement/other rule breaking stuff, and moves it to /newstuff
- The file gets decided to be put in the final appropriate directory after awhile of sitting in newstuff by a maintainer

Oh I got this late, I'm sorry. If you guys need to get ahold of me quicker in the future, I suggest using AIM (Echowned) -- I have it open but work but not IRC.

Anyways, I'll try to figure out how to fix the server timing out while uploading. If I can't (even though I changed PHP and Apache config) then I will set up some kind of anonymous FTP system, that the site can use a PHP script to authorize files. That way they have complete control over who can manage it.
