But redrum wasn't talking about precaching files... and he WAS putting his monster spawning in WorldSpawn() so Frika's post didn't really make sense to me... |

Hmm... you're right. While FrikaC made a good point, it wasn't specifically asked for. Thusly, his post was a waste of trees.

Think function != worldspawn. I'm cautioning about combining the solutions offered. Precaching normally occurs in the spawn functions, so if you follow Sajt's advice plus Urre's advice, you'll attempt precaching out of a spawn function. |
