I looked into doing this many many times. I'm not quite sure how the tooltip control works in Win32. The documentation is somewhat inconsistent. I will go back and look at it once more next weekend. |

So you're suggesting I manually draw them on the screen? That seems a bit excessive. |

It turns out I had already solved the whole tooltip thing in Quaded, so I just needed to back-port the work I did. Twas nothing, though I'm interested to know if this build works with everyone's system, as it is the first build I've done with .NET 2005 instead of VC6. |

Lol. 2000, what a year. One guy had a basic syntatic problem with the word and the other guy claimed to have invented it. We were throughly screwed either way. |

Wrong on both accounts.
Bush said "the Internets" in 2004 during the debates in an attempt to dismiss rumors of the draft returning. Pronunciation aside, he was at least truthful on this point, although it could be argued that stressing the rumors originate from the Internets, that he's also being somewaht dismissive of the net itself as being a hotspot of rumor and misinformation. Which I guess it is.
Gore never claimed to have invented the internet, that claim was more or less fabricated by the RNC to try to smear Gore as a liar. The fact that this smear lives on is disturbing. |
