Someone should make a Quake mod based on "Space Mutiny". I'm serious! Think of the awesome possibilities! Here's a few examples:

- The "railing kill" element, where you take twice as much damage near railings and on death flip off of said railing
- Awesome weapons, like the 3-barreled space laser pistol, the 4-barreled space laser UZI, the space laser bazooka, the space flamethrower, and conveniently-placed canisters of methane gas!
- An awesome controllable vehicle, the Enforcer! Drive at the neck-breaking top speed of maybe 20mph armed with tactically inaccurate space laser cannons!
- Wear disguises which don't work!
- Play as Dave Ryder, and scream and shoot your way to stopping the Space Mutiny!
- Play as Elijah Kalgan, and force people to accept your generosity as you lead the Space Mutiny, and also torture someone by attempting to burn their teeth out with a slow-moving laser that sounds like a drill!
- Play as a Balarian, and do stupid dances and have nothing to do with the plot whatsoever!

Clearly, if this mod were produced, it would be so epic that it would change the world.

Ok, so I'm being semi-serious here. I've had ideas stuck in my head for making an "FPS spoof" mod or whatever, and this movie just seems like the perfect base for this kind of thing.

Also, hi.

Next to facehuggers, mutiny is about the worst thing possible in space. Especially with space sailers. On space Galleons. In space.

Using "Space Mutiny" for a speed modding competition is probably too specific. I would think a B-movie based speed modding competition would be better.

Also, by "semi-serious", I mean I'll keep the idea on the back burner unless someone else takes inititive or pushes me hard enough to build it. And, I have another mod idea that I REALLY seriously want resources for.

To use that particular movie as the basis of a speed mod competition wouldn't be feasible because it presupposes everyone has seen the movie.

B-Movie as a theme isn't that great either, because these movies are relatively obscure to some people..
