Hi peeps. As you might know I've closed QuakeTermius, but I'd like to keep the links updated from time to time. I've noticed a few links that need dealing with, so I thought now would be a good time.
What I need is suggested links for the Developer section. These are sites run by people that actively work on Quake1 maps, mods, engines, ect... or somebody that might not be so active, but has a good backlog of work.
Proceed.... |

The QuakeOne navigator is a pretty good set of links some of us helped put together...
Yeah... I'm too lazy to make another list _________________ F. A. Špork, an enlightened nobleman and a great patron of art, had a stately Baroque spa complex built on the banks of the River Labe. |

I was thinking we need a site a bit like Slipgate Central used to be, a kind of link database list with a search engine...

Genius are like minded.
I just tried yesterday to download Blackmage, Spike's God Night Out and the Fragtown maps. And seems that google has tons of crap non-quake1 related, so is hard to locate mods, maps and stuff.
A maintenance here can be very usefull.
If everything fail. What we need is a "mind farm" community driven, so people can add links / update links withouth registration.
Of course some "captcha" can be really needed to avoid spam, but I can code that with PHP if some guy with a stable server can host it. |

As for mappers: Basically the people at func I'd say.
For that slipgate thing: Why not use del.icio.us? I started adding lots of links already. 2/5 are not shared yet and almost all are missing tags though :\
(I tagged Quaddicted because I might want to use del.icio.us Links for Quaddicted.com)

I can code that!
I like wikis, but I dont think "scale" for that task. And the interface is too "general" and a link can be specialized, so can be added more links faster, and able searching, etc.. |
