But redrum wasn't talking about precaching files... and he WAS putting his monster spawning in WorldSpawn() so Frika's post didn't really make sense to me...

Hmm... you're right. While FrikaC made a good point, it wasn't specifically asked for. Thusly, his post was a waste of trees.

Think function != worldspawn. I'm cautioning about combining the solutions offered. Precaching normally occurs in the spawn functions, so if you follow Sajt's advice plus Urre's advice, you'll attempt precaching out of a spawn function.
