I want to convert the enforcer.mdl for use as a player.mdl

However, I need to fudge the skin so it doesn't use any the shirt/pants special colours (initially - then I can paint on my own shirt/pants sections later).

Which lines of the quake palette do I need to avoid?

load up the model in qME

click View->Skin Color Editor

select the color to replace on the left, and the color to replace it with on the right, then hit the << button

it even has the colors for pants and shirt labelled

done.

Counting the top line as line 0, avoid line 1 (mustardy yellow) and either 5 or 6... I can't remember which one it is...

Edit: I knew it was 6... http://skindom.planetquake.gamespy.com/faq/quake/quakeworld-pal.gif
