Anyone has tried the UT3 Demo? What did you guys think about it? I had friends coming over as I downloaded it, tried it a little bit after they left and, from the 20 minutes or so I spent on it, I must say I really quite liked it. For some reasons, I've always found that UT was always close to the "original" Quake1 deathmatch feeling and UT3, from what I can see, is probably going to be the same. Really good stuff. It looks really nice, but not in an over-crowded or over-bumpmapped kinda way, too. Yummy. I can't wait for the full game to be released

yes
it's not that bad at all
aside from lag and config saving issues, this is quite good _________________

It looks much cleaner visually than UT2k3/4 and even the screenshots of this one. That was one thing I didn't care for about UT2k3/4 was just how overwhelming the needless detail was, to the point of being ugly. |

well said... they have put that overwhelming detail in the guns now. the damaged vehicles also look a bit too bumpy imo
the hover boards are an interesting idea! looks cool when you grapple on a flying vehicle with it... |
