Firstly, Quake:Operation Hellsmash is what used to be known as TAKOP (TROH). This name change was suggested by FrikaC, and I agreed that TAKOP and TROH were really too long, and hard to remember.

Next, Weapons and Items:
There will only be about 15 weapons total. Short list as follows:

1. Sonic Gauntlet: Replaced the Concussion Lancer and Axe. Pretty much does the same thing though

2. Chainsaw: Shares it's slot with the Sonic Gauntlet. This is basically the JoBu Chainsaw from PerQuake. Note that this will allow you to clear some obstacles, as well as cutting foes into nice little chunks.

3. Voltbuster / Dual Voltbusters: Only changes here are that the primary is a hitscan almost perfect accuracy bullet with a Unreal1 shock rifle style trail. Still recharges (25 shot capacity) has the PerQuake Voltaloyz charge bolt, and weak, but non-ammo using blaster bolt. Also, holding charged shots for long durations no longer causes you to go boom.

4. AutoShotgun: 25 round drum-fed. Fires eight hitscan bullets in a spread pattern at a medium rate, secondary uses 3 shells, but fires three exploding armor percing hitscan bullets. Trifire still offhands hand grenades.

5. Double Barrel Coach Gun: Mutually exclusive with the AutoShotgun. (Meaning you can't have this AND the AutoShotgun) Brutally powerful, but excessively slow. Secondary and trifire provides PerQuake Elephant Rifle functions.

6. MGUN-2X Assault Rifle: Pretty much unchanged. Both hitscan and tracer autofire with underslung grenade, and alternate sniping mode. 60 round bullet magazine, and uses hand grenades. Razortip Sniping Flechettes use Tarydium Shards though.

7. Impact Minigun: Still the insane ROF 20mm minigun, with the ability to grind flesh at close range without ammo. Having the Ammo Pack as your current item provides an automatic seamless reload when this runs dry.

8. Infyrno Thermal Disruptor: No longer rapid fires short ranged sprite based flame and freeze puffs. Functionally, it is closer to the Lava Nails from DOE, and the Freeze attacks are very much DN3D shrinker-esque. Both flame and freeze have a very powerful, but short to medium ranged linear blast attack special.

9. Barracuda GL: Becomes the Barracuda Flak Cannon. Primary fires five richoceting armor percing flechettes, while secondary and trifire fire regular grenades and Thermite grenades respectively. Eight shot magazine.

10. Skullplume: Shoots out exploding heads in primary, while secondary plants proximity activated leapfrog grenades. All ammo for this is discarded between level changes, but since it uses gibbed heads for ammo, and corpses can be gibbed, it's no problem.

11. Apocalypse Missile Launcher: Fires big warheads. Features the LDRG guidance system for use with the SplitMissiles. X-Bomb and Fusion warhead are still the alternate mode for this weapon. Normal Warheads cost 3 flak shells, while splitmissiles cost 6.

12. OmegaCannon: Mutually exclusive with the Apocalypse ML, it eats energy cells like popcorn. Fires out gravity attractor projectiles, when charged, fires a projectile that becomes a gravity well on impact. Unlike the voltbuster, holding charged shots for long durations will make you go boom.

13. Ragnarok CPR: Primary rapid fires shots like the voltbuster primary, secondary fires the fusion blaster, and trifire fires out Magnum Grenades.

14. Gungnir Shock Rifle: Pretty much like the UT shock rifle, but no combo, the secondary charges up a really powerful version of the primary, and the trifire charges the Linque Disruptor. (Chain lightning Impact BFG) Basically your enhanced Railgun weapon.

15. Hand Grenades: Notable differences are that you don't get impact grenades, you get remote detonatable grenades, and can make grenade traps.

Items short list:
1. Amplifier: Uses a Tarydium Shard to provide 15 seconds of Double damage for all weapons. Rare and hard to find.

2. Cloaker: Uses a Tarydium Shard to provide 15 seconds of Ring of Shadows style invisibility.

3. Ammo Pack: Fully refills primary ammo type of current weapon. Auto-uses if it is the currently selected item, you are firing the minigun and run out of ammo.

4. Whoopass Stew: Boosts health by 100 points, and imparts a random powerup.

5. Key Item #1: Varies. When present is almost always needed to unlock or activate something in the level.

6. Key Item #2: see above.

7. Enviro Field Generator: Renders you immune to flame attacks, slime and drowning. Auto activates, but uses Armor Energy.

8. Architectual Blueprint: Allows your onboard MICA computer to formulate objectives, and to point out useful secrets upon level entry.

Next, Cast of Characters, and Story:

Bestiary condensed:
Grunts: Four flavors. Watch out when killing the level 3 infested, sometimes a Droleling will pop out to try and eat you.

Enforcer: Four flavors. Mega Enforcers have a personal forcefield that requires you either wait for them to lower it to attack, or hit them with a particularly powerful attack.

Drone: The better to patrol those base levels.

Turrets: Pops out when you least expect them.

Dogs: Two flavors. Zombie dogs need a grenade biscuit to be dealt with.

Fish: Faster. Can gibble. Hey, they're just fish.

Knights: Two flavors. Skull knights wield the Skullplume and roughly equate to Original DooM's Pain Elemental.

Death Knight: Two flavors. New tricks, plus his flamepuffs can occasionally light you on fire. Wraith Knights are particularly nasty.

Scrag: Two flavors. Can teleport, and vampire. Ignited flavor can light you on fire.

Fiend: Two flavors. Now fast and faster. Faster ones can dissolve your arse with an acid spray spit attack.

Voreling: From Quoth.

Vore: Two flavors. Can now claw you to death. Normal ones can cloak. Rotten ones are twice as tough, can't cloak, and fry your ass with exploding magma balls.

Shalrath: Evolved vore. Quite nasty. Floats around.
Teleports too.

Spawn: Camoflauge skins for hiding in lava and slime. Can also split when shot, ala the missionpack ones.

Shambler: Faster, can summon and toss freeze boulders.

Wraith: From DOE. Can now fry your ass with lightning, and teleport.

Flying Polyp: From Quoth. Evolved spawn. Flys around, can cloak. Hates splitmissiles.

Night Gaunt: From Quoth. Quite a bit more active in it's assaults now. Like getting in your face and trying to gut you.

Droleling: Uses Error's young.mdl. Likes to stretch the face of it's unfortunate host across it's main body.

Drole: From Quoth.

Gug: From Quoth. Watch out for his new Thunder Crash attack.

Protagonists, others and Antagonist condensed:

Apocryphal Pegasi - Emissary of the World Near Yet Far: Rebuilt Warship / Troop Transport of an unknown extinct civilization, fitted with a Crossgate drive allowing it to transition throughout dimensions and time periods. Discovered heavily damaged, Rebuilt, retrofitted, and renamed by Dr. Shadowborg to serve as a base of operations against the revived Quake Empire. Features comfortable crew quarters, rec area, operations and slipgate transport room, as well as R&D facilities for analysis.

Criore: Main computer of the Apocryphal Pegasi. At times shows almost human concern for the protagonists, and aids in the battle against Quake by planning and formulating missions designed to inflict maximum damage upon Quake's objectives.

MICA OS: Primary operating system built into the Hazardous Combat Armor. Basically a reduced capability version of Criore. Aids in combat by controlling the reactive systems of the HCA and providing limited situational analysis.

Dr. Shadowborg: Nearly 100% of his body is cybernetic in nature. Little is known of his past, though Criore speculates that he originates from a world that paralleled FrikaC's but where events produced the most negative outcome possible. Addictionally, there may be an unknown past connection between him and the keeper...

FrikaC: A victim of the goverment's recent revivial of it's slipgate ambitions. Little of his past is known due to data erasure on the part of the government. What is known however is that he is the sole survivor of the previous incident, and has developed latent Psionic abilities as a result of his experience. He is currently being held a a high security research villa for "experimentation"...

c0burn: Electrician Exterminator Mercenary affiliated with the Helsing Institute. The Helsing Insititue is an organization created to deal with the infestation problem presented by Drole incursions and has surreptitiously received technical support from Dr. Shadowborg. He is considered by the Helsing Insitiute to be the best in his field.

Sajt: Hockey Player. Ancestor drove Quake's Dissolution of Eternity regiment from his world single-handedly with nothing but an axe. Determined to be a major threat to the goals of the Keeper.

The Keeper of Pain: Unknown entity that has revived the Multidimensional Empire known only as "Quake". Goals are unknown, though perhaps only the Doctor knows "her" true ambitions....

Brief summary of the Worlds currently involved:

FrikaC's World: This world is the one that the Ranger hails from. After the Dissolution of Eternity incident, Ranger disappeared and all research, data, and logfiles regarding Slipgates were sealed by the government. However, with the rise of a highly militaristic government, the potental military applications of the slipgates, and the monsters that live in the other dimensions proved to be far too tempting...

c0burn's World: Paralleling FrikaC's, the government's experiments went out of control. The government repeatedly denied any involvement with the ever spreading incursions of monsters while barracading themselves into private bunkers. Ironically, they themselves were the first to die, trapped within their bunkers, as the Droles made themselves comfortable in their new, highly secure underground hive colonies. Realizing that the government had abandoned them to save their own asses, the populace pulled together, and founded the Helsing Institute to deal with these new threats...

Sajt's World: Early in it's development (approximatly the time of Ancient Egypt), Sajt's world was firmly under the thumb of Quake's Dissolution of Eternity regiment. Until that is, a Viking warrior appeared from what most of Quake's Minions at the time believed to be the black void which even they fear. After being driven from this world, Osiris, the Wraith Overlord, and the Dragon erased all information regarding the existance of this world in order to avoid having to explain to Shub how they ended up losing a valuable world to one man armed with nothing but an axe. Fast forward a few millennia, the world is united by the sport "Ice Hockey", with the landmass called Canada being this world's Nation Capital...

// End Update...

Operation Hellsmash code updates, restructuring, and optimization is currently ongoing.

This is because:

1. No sounds for a Gargoyle Player. Gargoyle making standard Ranger noises = retarded. And completely illogical.

2. Gargoyle hands = grey with sharp claws. Weapon v_models = Human hands. No grey.

3. Gargoyle MIGHT appear as boss to fight. But only IF suitable sounds are located.
