ok
a warning though: it has a config.cfg in the pak file so prepare to get resetted. I didn't alter anything for the sake of timestamp history so here it is as-is. _________________

Wow, great models! I meant really great models. Except for the Shambler replacement maybe. The rest is great! I love the cute looks! |

Wow, you finally got it after years of searching, and spamming approximately 1 billion forums with requests. You have had a serious obsession with this mod CheapAlert.
I've known about it for 7 - 8 years, but I think the download link was dead even when the site was still active. I don't think I've ever played it. I'll have a look later.... I hope it was worth the wait heh. |

Update :
I found the project leader of The Troopeux TC. His name is Philippe Doyon a.k.a. Boussourir, and he lives in Québec - Canada.
Anyhoo, I thought I would send him an email, to say hello, and let him know people are still interested in his work after all this time. His reply:
===============================
Hi there,
You should get this file: http://www.quaketerminus.com/mods/Lost-Mods.zip *
I will remove it in a week because I need the bandwidth.
I THINK there is a boss in this version, you should check what maps are
included. (the boss is a kind of spider robot with 2 guns)
The other mod is a thing I did to experiment with multiple textures, new gib
effects and a flame thrower. Essentially it replaces all ennemies with 3-4
types of soldiers.
Njoy.
===============================
* Since Boussourir (Njoy?) appears to be concerned about bandwidth, I have replaced his original link with my mirror.
The file has not been altered, and weighs in at 30mb. It contains an uncompressed version of the Troopeux mod, with "in-progress" bits, 2 maps and an unseen boss (load the included e1m7 map). The zip file also contains another 2 map mod called Lechef.
For people interested in Boussourir's current work, his website is here:

What a nice chap  |

Awesome detective work Megazoid!
This is worth getting in addition to troopbeta. Lechef is also rather good too.
Incidentally, maybe he's joined the forum? I do see a "Boussourir" in our recently joined members...

Yes I did .
Sorry but my website is rather unupdated so you should check somewhere else like www.saumurien.com where you can see shots of my current animation short.
I did not mod for a while. I do games and get paid for it, tho.
Anyway glad you still like those. _________________ Albert is worst than any fish in the sea. |
