I meant player forum sites like Singed.Net, QuakeBoard and RuneCentral and such.

where the hell do you pull these statistics from anyway, your cat?

You can get a feel for this by watching what people post about and their reaction to different things. It's an educated guess, but I would surmise it is rather close the mark.

I might add, a lot of players only go to Quake websites of any kind if they have a problem with Quake.

At the last qexpo I did the best I could to make sure as many people as possible were aware of it's existance. However, I was working on my own and also trying to complete a huge mod project at the same time. I think I did a reasonable job, which is shown by the increase in the number of booths from the 2003 qexpo.

Baker, if you think people don't know about qexpo, then tell then! It's a community project and you're part of that community.

As for this mod, I'm glad someone's used my paQman code, but it would be nice to get some credit when if it gets a proper release.

Is there a QExpo 2006 info page somewhere or a page with signup info? As far as i know, there isn't a link to post for interested participants.

Well aside from asking this in the wrong thread, Wink no there is not, the page is done as far as flow and visuals, but the php is not implemented as of yet due to communication mishaps.

We will announce when it is open to booth participants to apply, which will be before the expo itself of course.

I'm just mentioning this because it's getting kind of tight. There are some individuals that I think should setup booths but I don't really have any actionable information I could give them.

And when that page is ready, someone should post it at QuakeWorld.nu as well.
