I thought this might interest some of you : http://www.4drulers.com/gore/index.php
The game was originally released in 2002. I'm downloading it right now. Apparently you can download the game for free and it should be exactly what the original game was like. Special "features" can be bought, not exactly sure what they consist in.
I played this game a long time ago and, while it wasn't mind-blowing, I don't think it totally sucked either. Could be worth a try, particularly since it won't cost you a dime

I recall my brother playing that, and I think the movement felt too fast for my taste, or atleast for those environments or something. It works in games with large enough spaces like Quake or Doom. I might be mixing things up though. I do however recall one of the Gore devs being part of the Zymotic team for a short while, and being an arrogant know-it-all. _________________ Look out for Twigboy |
