I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Wazat made a mod called BattleMech a while back, and it's pretty well done. Hope this helps.

No that's not it. The mod he's looking for is lth's Battlemech, not Wazat's.

(They do have the same name however, but lth's came out in 2000)

The original Battlemech had it's own website for a many years. I seem to remember not listing it on QuakeTerminus because I considered it (rightly or wrongly) too unfinished. Wasn't it basically just a few models? Can't remember.

I'm not going to be home for 24 hours or so, but I'll certainly have a look for it (if CheapAlert doesn't get in there first).

Sorry, I had a look through all my old disks and even my old website links and couldn't find a thing. I'm also getting confused about the different versions (but I don't have any of them).

I think the site was here? -

There was a very similar to mechwarrior 2 mod released during one of the QExpos (2001 or 2003), there wasn't much there but it was an engine mod with some new hud stuff. I think they had a model of the Warhammer mech from Mechwarrior 2.
