Hello, I am a animator for a psp quake mod named counter strike portable, which had the basic gameplay of counter strike, like buy menus, most weapons, reloading,teams, chatting with wavs, etc., and I am trying to learn how to code so I can improve on alot of bugs on this game. I've already added in more frames for the reload codes, so that weapons have full reloads, not choppy short ones, and improved some minor issues. I am looking for someone to help code with me on this game, because alot of major bugs and fixups I am unable to fix. i would have attempted to help if you werent copying cs exactly. maybe if you might have made the game at least a little bit of a different theme. if your having issues with specific code though im sure you could always ask about the problem on the qc programming board. _________________ QuakeDB - Quake ModDB Group |

I would suggest getting rid of the horrible bots in it and installing or write new ones from scrath, try tutor bot I think It is the one that helps you learn bot making or something. Correct me if I am wrong.
Also fix the bomb in it as it does not explode and when you are a terrorist when you swap over to bomb you cannot swap back to your weapons. Just toss up the code here and people will help. |

hey, im helping urban kid too, but we really dont want to copy excactly , we want to add in more, unique weapons for each team, and customize gameplay abit. |

well i usually animate them and convert models but i am lazy mostly so i converted alot of models but which is best convert or make?

Better to make your own this way you can freely distribute the mod + media. |

hey guys, im going to help clear this out:
urban kid wants a cs style game with custom weapons and things like that, but still keeping some sort of bad guy vs. good guy scenario.
He has many models made, but they don't serve a purpose due to them not fitting in the current cs portable. If someone would be kind enough to help my friend out, he would like some of the following(some are already included in the current game):
-2 teams
-reloading
-some kind of menu system not using engine coding or csqc
-able to have a varity of weapons on each team
-flashlight
-rounds
-missions(will go into detail later)
-crouching
-weapon droping
-and I think that might be it besides some current bug fixing.
We don't want a cs clone, just something that uses a similar style of gameplay. |

we are using dquake engine it supports hl1 models and maps |
