Neil is back with a sequel to his earlier work Road to Inverurie.

"Setting/story for ALBA 02

PLACE: ALBA (ANCIENT SCOTLAND)

The year is 1303 A.D.

In Alba01 (Road to Inverurie) you escaped from the English and made your way back to the village of Inverurie. Thus, 'Inverurie' starts with you at the edge of town and you must make your way through the town and then escape into the Scottish countryside."
-Neil Manke.

Sounds easy enough hmmm? If you enjoyed Road to Inverurie you will like this sequel. Top notch architecture (similar to the masterpiece "Shadow Over Innsmouth" by Steve Roscoe) help bring to life your flight from the English as you skulk your way back to Scottish territory.

Neil has again included the poor tortured crucified wretches impaled to the walls. But it is these dying brothers that offer you clues along the way. Also water sequences are helped out by bubbles which are a tip off that something important is around.

I loved the night of the living dead part that is incorporated in this tale. The undead rise from their graves, and you are around to greet them. Yeech.

A strong follow-up to an excellent level, aw come on its the next chapter you gotta' see what happens next.

Middle of the night hope everyone is snuggled in their beds. Maybe I can just tip toe through here.

Nice church, maybe I can seek refuge here. After all, they can't possibly attack me inside a church. "Sanctuary, Sanctuary, Sanctuary". Well it worked in The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
