Author Info : This is the first wad I have ever published! But dont let this fool you. I have taken my time with this level and thoroughly tested it. I even aligned ALL the textures. I'm not some schlep who got his hands on a level editor and whipped out a piece of garbage. If you're into tag then this level is for you! Your Mission : This one is fairly obvious. If you dont know the rules to tag get DogTag3.wad. Here is a quick run down. There are two teams blue and red. The level is set up for teams to be 1 and 3 vs. 2 and 4, but that doesn't really matter. There are two "forts" with multiple entrances, one is the blue fort and the other is the red. Before you begin play decide which player will hit and which one will run. As always the hitter goes into the opposing teams fort to hit the switch, while his/her team mate goes to their color fort to get the radiation suit. Once you've checked the level you'll know how it works.(In single play try IDCLIP). I've tried to stay with the standards set in DogTag, but the methods are different. Once the runner has suit he/she must get to the lava room, and hit the switches in an attempt to score a point. The hitter's job at this point is to protect her/his team mate. I've made it so it's not too easy, but not too hard to score (I hope). The door to the scoring area is open just long enough, so if you get to the door and it's closed you're dead meat cause your suit is going to run out in a few short seconds. First team to five wins. This level can also be played 2 player. Well there it is in a nutshell, I hope it is to your liking, if not you know where to send the flames. Special thanks also goes out to the makers of DogTag3 and Dwango7.wad map 10 (I scammed the texture for the scoreboard from D7M10) for the refrences (sector heights, line tags etc) for all the special effects required for a tag level. More thanks also goes out to Ben Morris, the maker of DCK, for making a kick ass level editor (though it does have some minor overlookable flaws that I could never fix in a thousand years so dont take it the wrong way Ben), and to Olivier Montanuy the maker of Wintex/Deusf who made it relatively simple to slap custom textures into a PWAD.If I forgot anyone please feel free to send me a flaming mignon! I can take it, trust me. This Wad is available at: ftp.cdrom.com in either /pub/idgames/doom2/incoming, /newstuff or /levels/deathmatch and on my webspace at: www.concentric.net/~chriss99/Cavern/dread.htm P.S.
