The Games of the Deathtrack Not much time has passed since the destruction of one of the devil's most violent and gory assaults on earth, and as the base of hell itself is taken off of Earth for good, so goes the very marine who took it out in the huge explosion. But in this victory, there comes a need for revenge against the rest of the humans, in a quest to totally annialate the human race by the devil. He sets his minions on a mission to track down the last remaining humans in the space shuttle and kill them off. Where are they? The find themselves on a moon in a distant star system, a moon called Daelinia. Here they try to re-build their society, to start over from scratch on an untouched place much smaller than their former home of Earth. This moon orbits the planet Animatronia, where the animals have evolved instead of humans, to replace the human form. All is peaceful, that was, until the humans need to live carries the evil of hell itself following them to this untouched system. This is where a new hero is needed. The leader of the Animatronian legion gets word and sign of a large structure eclipsing their moon, and thus Cheetah X knows only to seek and destroy it before his planet, and his animal-descendant people go up in flames as Earth once did. So off Cheetah sent himself in a jet cruiser, but before he can react, his eyes glimse the large Deathtrack, the devil's new toy. A giant rat-maze intended for torturing the humans, both physically AND mentally. He has infested it with many demons, traps, and weapons. Cheetah X had just pressed his lazer cannons to full blast, when in a blink he finds himself standing in the dead center of the maze...staring at a glowing "S" on the floor. This is where it begins...but where might it end? Cheetah picks up the pistol left there by the marine of Earth, as well as some armor, and heads into the heart, the final "F", to finish this demented plan off. New Graphics: YES (Player's face, menu bar, options menu, title screen, skull selecting tool, level names, etc...) New Sounds: YES (Weapons mostly, but character now growls like a wildcat, and basically those things that were a tad too 'mild' for hellish battles so it all comes off more intense and 'new'.) New Music: YES (ALL 32 Levels worth, and intro, with techno soundtrack) New Lumps: YES (screen after you quit) New Sprites: YES (player sprite and weapons so the character has cheetah fur. OH...and the barrels are now silver with red acid) New Levels: YES...from scratch...4 so far, but already working on up to level 9 and hopes for at least 10 (but from hints from a whole game of new music, yes...I plan eventually to have the whole 32 levels replaced, before moving on to Heretic, Quake, etc... DeHacked Improvments: Troopers have less reaction time (meaning you have more chance of being shot if you don't use lighting-quick reflexes. Lost Souls are easier to kill, so I could place them without worrying if there were too many. Basically now I can use them as hovering, smaller troopers Also changed a lot of the texts, including level names and episode plot evolvements (those things between the episodes saying how you've done and that you've helped the humans leave earth). Lots of things said when you pick stuff up and cheat/uncheat are different. Heck, I even changed all but the level-skip cheat code to different things, and gave a few different settings for when you do find them. Otherwise, play on. This is a Total Conversion, or at least an attempt at it. The plot was written from a book I have been working on since 5th grade (and that I still haven't finished), or at least the fact the humans are on Daelinea and that Animatronia is there with Cheetah X as the leader. It's coming along.
