Description : Tired of those abstract Wads where you have more difficulty fighting against sleep caused by the plain boredom of the environment than battling your numerous adversaries? *Then this PWad might just be something you need* Can you escape from the Citadel Of Sorrow? Blast your way through dozens of enemies against the sinister setting of a Medieval Castle. Experience agony in one of the biggest levels ever-675k of death defying violence! Gaze in awe at the highly detailed and atmospheric rooms!(Well,as far as the Doom-engine makes it possible) And if just killing the monsters isn't enough to satisfy your sadistic needs,there's always the interactive torture chamber! Known Bugs : Only a couple of minor glitches in the court yard that stayed,even after ID's release of v1.666 * Misc. Notes * -Version 3.0: * Update for Internet Release: -added more rooms:guard room,tombs,small dungeon,hidden rooms. -Made Ultra violence level a lot tougher!-added archvile & mancubuses. This should keep all you veteran Doomers happy. Level 3 (Hurt me Plenty) is now as difficult as Ultra Violence used to be. -changed lightshades, -changed textures. -added some chairs in the dining room. -added switches in the library. -added torches. -re-aligned door-sidetextures so they don't move when doors are opened. -had to keep number of things at 603 to prevent savegame buffer overrun. -Version 2.2: -This is an updated version of v2.0 for Doom 1 for use with Doom ][ only! (confusing,huh?);I changed some of the textures(I had to,since Doom ][ doesn't use all of Doom 1's textures) and put in a few new ones(armoury),added the super shotgun,some new monsters and a couple of switches. * Copyright / Permissions * You may distribute this file provided you include this file, with no modifications.
