=========================================================================== Title : Cyberdemon Dance Filename : CYBRDNCE.WAD Author : Al Cowsky Email Address : ACowsky@aol.com Misc. Author Info : This is my first attempt at writing a PWAD. Description : This is a medium sized wad with one large central room in which the player starts and ends the level. There are 4 small wings off of this room which house the necessary keys and switches required to finish this level. Included in this level is one Cyberdemon which sits on a perch above the main room. A word of warning, throwing the wrong switch will allow the Cyberdemon to enter the main room, forcing you to "Dance" with it until either of you die or until you throw the exit switch. Credits : The "special effect" near the automap (you will know it when you "See" it) as well as the "UAC" in the UAC room are inspired by Mr. Leo Martin Lim's "Doomsday of UAC" level for Doom. The "special effect" near the Yellow key is my embellishment of Mr. Lim's special effect. The Doors going up to the room with the Blue key, as well as the doors beyond the red and yellow keyed doors are my own creation (at least I haven't seen it done that way before). I was tired of the standard Doom doors and I wanted to do something different. I hope you enjoy them. Additional Credits : Mr. Steve Benner for his excellent WAD writing tutorial in "Tricks of the Doom Programming Gurus" by SAMS publishing and Mr. Matthew Ayers for his WADED editor. Special thanks to ID Games for making such a fun game. =========================================================================== * Play Information * Level Number : 01 Single Player : Yes Cooperative 2-4 Player : No (The start positions are there though) Deathmatch 2-4 Player : No Difficulty Settings : Yes New Sounds : No New Graphics : No New Music : No Demos Replaced : None * Construction * Base : New level from scratch Editor Used : Waded V.1.83B Known Bugs : Some textures that don't quite line up.
