IPXXFER v2.0 Written by Ron Dunlevy September 29th, 1995 At last here is version 2. Whats new? ~~~~~~~~~~ - Slightly faster - Will do sub-directories - Overwrite control answerable on either the sending or the receiving side How do I use it? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For Sending: IPXXFER [/s] filename.ext /s - will send the files in the sub-directories under the current directory also filename.ext - is any valid filename. (examples: ron.txt, *.txt, ro*.tx*, etc.) - sorry no support for the ? wildcard :( For Receiving: IPXXFER (no parameters) - files will be placed in current directory - sub-directories will be created beneath current directory How do I use the overwrite prompt? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When a file exsist on the target machine, both machines will ask you if the file should be overwritten. The valid choices are A, Y, N. If you enter A, the file will be overwritten, and ALL future files will be overwritten without the prompt. Y means yes overwrite this file, and N means no, skip this file. Either side can answer at anytime. What's next? ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Who the hell knows..... I may be switching jobs, so I might actually get the time to make this a better program. I'd like to add a CRC check, 'cause every-once-in-a-while a file comes over not quite done. I'd also like to add the following: -Support for the serial port -Make it possible for an InterLink type usage... ya know, access the files and the target as if they were on your own PC.... -Support for the ? character.. I thought I did this on this version -Multiple target PCs. One source suppling more than one target. How to reach me... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ email: RonDu@aol.com I check email every day and I like to hear +/- comments about this program. They help me to know if other people are getting the same good use out this program as I do. It also helps me figure out the direction this program should take. So drop me a line.... Once again.... this program is freeware. If you feel you absolutly have to pay money for it... I'll take $5.00 (US) or what ever you feel like paying... Or you or can pay by way of installments.... ;) RonDu
