22/1/2000 now contains the arena file so the map should
show up in the q3 multiplayer menu.

Map title: VETERANS HAUNT

Map info:
The map you are about to play has a very stylized
appearance, i wanted
to give the map a look of its own(let me no if you like
it).
When designing the map i wanted to give the players lots
of routes to escape
an attack or to chase a frag.Theres one trap wich sinks
the quad platform
into the lava, its activated by shooting the blast-plate
on the wall above it.
To get hold of the bfg you'll have to get the haste
first.Theres also a dark area :)
The map does have tactical elements, wich could make for
some great
2 vs 2 teamplay, also good in 5 player deathmatch.

To get this map to work follow the below
instructions:
1: Place the q3kel2.pk3 file in your quake3\baseq3
folder.
2: Start quake3 pull down the console and type map q3kel2
3: To add bots use the quake3 menu.
4: WASTE SOME BOTS (or preferably your mates).

The map was designed and built in about 3-4 days, i then
spent another day adding a bit more detail and ironing
out a few glitches(a few walls disappeared after a full
vis).I also followed a few bots around the map to see how
the behaved, the bots took to the map very well, ( as
they do to most maps) very impressive.The bots also love
to rocket jump on this map to get hold of the rocket
launcher!?..cool, the only thing is they don't go for the
quad or the bfg but for them to get hold of the bfg is
maybe asking too much.I would love to check out this map
in a 2 vs 2 team play for my self ( with real players)
but as of yet i had not had the chance to, (i'll do it
soon) but it should play a dream.Oh yeh and for those who
love this stuff the map took 57mins to fully vis
+light.Any hoo have fun in the map and let us no what you
think of the look and the layout.
