There's a landing pad, steam room, pumping room, warehouse, secret rooms and so on. Thanks to : Id, and the makers of Qoole and Worldcraft. Rob for some ideas, and Czar Vargo for play- testing. ______________________________________________________________________ - Playing Info - Level Name : Landing Pad Single Player : No Cooperative 2-4 Player : No Deathmatch 1-8 Player : Yes (4-16? players) Difficulty Settings : No - Construction - Base : Original Editor(s) : Qoole, WC 1.6/QERadiant (error checking) Known Bugs : None known Build Time : 4 weeks (on and off) Textures : Various Q2, no custom Build Comp : P200Pro/128MB RAM NT4.0 Qbsp3 : 45-50 seconds QVis3 : 3195 seconds Qrad3 : 4000 seconds [*Qvis3 -level 4, Qrad3 -extra] Brushes : 1027 Models : 30 Entities : 256 _______________________________________________________________________ - Info - This is my first deathmatch map for Quake II. I'd like to hear what you have to say about it. Framerates are good. R_speeds generally come in a sub-600, but a few places have flashes up to the 650-675 range. Shouldn't be a problem though (some of the leves included with Q2 jump to 750). The landing pad area may be slightly slower in framerate... If you do a review of the level, send me a copy, or a URL to read it. If you put it on a server, also send me the IP/Port. _______________________________________________________________________ - Installation - Unzip terraform1.bsp to quake2\baseq2\maps. Create a maps directory in baseq2 if necessary. Run Quake2, hit ~ and type in: map terraform1 You can also use Dos Prompt with this command line: quake2 +map terraform1 _______________________________________________________________________ - Copyright / Permissions - According to the id License Agreement, no one is allowed to distribute this work using any other means than the internet, and only for free.
