NewWad 1.6 (originally pcx2wad by daniel gilliland); Modified by Christopher Wise (wise@eng2.eng.monash.edu.au) NewWad is a program to add textures in pcx, bmp or lbm formats to the WAD2 files that are used by qbsp. NewWad now uses the palette from each file that is read. Thus it is possible to create a wad2 file with textures based on another palette for a TC. New: Due to my carelessness I uploaded the version 1.5 package with the old version 1.4 newwad.exe. To avoid confusion I have renamed the fixed package 1.6. BspView will now view hexen2 demo bsp's with the hexen palette if you use the /hexen switch. I don't have the full version yet, so I don't know if it works with that. A big bug with the treatment of fullbright colours has been fixed. There was a situation where fullbrights could be produced in a sub-texture when none existed in the parent and vice-versa.
