Before we get into anything, I want to personally thank you, Grr.  If it wasn't for your insight and suggestions, this pack would not have been near the caliber it is now.  I am indebted to you for all the time you wasted with me to make this pack better and better.  Thank you for pushing me forward with new ideas  and concepts.  I would also like to give many thanks to LazyDayz.  Your art has graced this pack (and the web site) with it's presence.  We may have had a pack that worked well, but it wasn't exactly pretty until you came along.  Thanks a million.   And finally, to all the scripters in the Tribes universe, I thank you for creating truly useful and innovative scripts.  Your work is appreciated more than you know, and this pack is a tribute to you all.  And by the way, the intent of this pack is not for seeking glory ( cough cough, Writer) , but to make the use of scripts available to ALL, not just those who have the know-how.

Welcome to the Poop Pack. This pack is (to the author's knowledge) the most advanced compiled script pack around. With FULL NewOpts support, you can now experience the game as it should be. No more dropping out of Tribes to fiddle with some script's key bindings.  No more making a mess out of your config directory.  This pack was made with the intentions of being easy enough for the computer illiterate as well as rich and configurable to the script-savvy.

Some of its feature are:

* Over 40+ scripts compiled and working happily together
* New "ScriptChooser" function allows you to enable/disable ANY script in the pack.
* Full NewOpts support for all scripts that require key binds.
* Flexible enough to accommodate any player's key bind preferences with ease.

How to install:

1 - Make sure you have the latest Tribes patch applied.  Go to TribesPlayers.com to get it.
2 - Back up your current config directory.
3 - Run the self-extracting executable and extract it to your "Tribes" folder.
4 - Allow it to OVERWRITE any file it asks (I know, leap of faith, right? Trust me.).

How to Customize:

- To enable/disable scripts in the pack, start up the game and  go to the "OPTIONS" page.  From there, make sure that the "Scritps" section on the left pane is selected.  On the right side of the screen are all the NewOpts pages for the scripts in the pack.  Use the Pull Down menu to select a "Script Chooser" page.  Here you will find an extensive list of all the scripts in the pack (note, there is more than one scriptchooser page).  Simply check the ones you want, and un-check the ones you don't.  Simple, right?  Last thing you need to do is restart the game and off you go!

- To change any of the key binds, start up the game and  go to the "OPTIONS" page. From there, all key binds can be set in the "Controls" category.  Before you go off binding your merry way into oblivion, I STRONGLY suggest you read the KEY BINDS files first.  They can be very enlightening.

- To customize the layout of all the HUDS on your  screen, simply start tribes and join a game. While "IN" game, press the Default "Alt H" to activate HUDMover. Instructions are displayed onscreen.   *NOTE* It may not be "Alt H" if you changed this  key bind. But suffice it to say, it is the default one set when you install the pack.

- To ADD a script is simple as well. Go to your "Tribes\Config" directory and open up the "AddedScripts.cs" file. If you are adding scripts, then I assume you know how, and therefore no instructions are needed.

- To edit your FastFaves loadouts, go to "Tribes\Config\Favorites.cs" If you know anything about scripting, you should be able to easily enough figure it out. If your not familiar with scripting at all, just forget about it. :o) You can always disable the script.

Where to get support:

- All general questions about the pack should be addressed to me. However, if you install it exactly as instructed, it is guaranteed to work the first time.

- If a script is located in the "Tribes\Config\Poop"  folder, then that means it was altered in some way by me. CONTACT ME ONLY, NOT THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR.  SINCE THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS RELEASE, I DOUBT THAT THEY WANT TO DO TECH SUPPORT FOR IT!!!  IF YOU CANT FIND THE ANSWERS TO ANY PROBLEMS YOU MAY HAVE THEN FEEL FREE TO USE THE POOP PACK MESSAGE BOARD.

Known Issues:

- Upon first time playing with the PoopPack, it will be VERY likely that the HUDS are not optimally configured. This is something that cannot be avoided without great difficulty. If this happens to be the case, just press "Alt H" to activate the HUDMover and move everything to exactly where you want it.

- Many people do not like the "CmdHUD" because of the way it sizes the command map. If you wish to disable this script, do so in the "ScriptChooser" NewOpts page. Also, you must delete the "command.gui" file in your "Tribes\GUI" directory.

- Sometimes CmdHUD likes to switch on the INV screen when leaving a Command Station.

- Writer's pilot mode script likes to turn itself on when you are at an ammo station, or occasionally when you die. To turn it off, the default setting is " Shift + C".  However, you may have changed this.  The key bind is called "Pilot Mode Off" and is located on the "writers Extra Keys" NewOpts page.

- For those of you who have not experienced writer's FastFaves, your going to be in for a little shock at the INV's. Fast Favs automatically turns off your  INV screen. This is supposed to happen. Try pressing one of the NUMBER pad keys. Notice something neato? If you don't like it, you can always disable the script.

- There will ALWAYS be something else to add here....
