So somebody wanted an Easter Egg...

DirectQ now has a rather cool Easter Egg. Of course it's a totally frivolous waste of my time when I could have been doing some more serious stuff, but what the hell?

It's quite hard to find (unless you cheat by looking at the source code, of course) and when you do you might wish that you hadn't. And don't worry, it doesn't mess up anything on any maps or mods, it's nothing stupid like that. In fact it might even be quite scary the first time you see it (it still frightens me a little even now).

I'll see if anyone finds it quickly enough before I start dropping hints. Because I'm nasty like that.

Just checked the rotate map again, no clipping errors its working great : )

Exceeeeept when you jump on the rotating bridge the player doesnt rotate with the bridge, the bridge just rotates under the player.

That's probably something that needs to be taken care of in the QC though right? I'll post a reply on the forums

No, it's not released yet. ;)

I noticed the rotation thing too. I can cross-check with the RMQ engine too see if that's the same. I think I remember seeing it (or something like it) on their "TO DO" list in the rotate test pack though.

Yeah, their link shows match player view on the to do list.

Should be some good stuff.
