Just fooling around with a few maps getting back into the swing of things, and I've noticed that fog somehow became broken at some point. Added to the list of things to fix.
UPDate: I can get the replacement menu graphics to load, but none of the hud numbers, inventory, weapons, sigil, face etc etc icons to load. Trying to determine if its an issue with the replacements or whatever, but the very same one in the same directory work fine in Darkplaces. Anyone else having this issue?
Seems as though it's uniformly the ones that load from gfx.wad that you're having trouble with, whereas the ones that are originally .lmp files in the gfx folder work fine. Added to the list.
No further thoughts re: Hexen 2. Would love to integrate the two engines, but there are a number of major stumbling blocks (not least the practical requirement of getting the released H2 source to work both with and without the Portals expansion).
No sweat on H2 - I may just grab VC express and have a punt at bringing my old one back to life and then throwing your DX wrapper on it and see what happens. Was more curious about whether your current renderer is modular enough to allow for relatively painless integration into the H2 engine.
BTW running your latest release I have fog working on my little intel 945

..I'm having a hell of a time getting any 2d gfx to load from the /gfx directory. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Pretty much off topic but have you had any more thoughts re Hexen 2?

The Intel 945 is actually quite a good performer for DirectQ in anything I've tested so far. :D
Fog in 1.8.1 is screwed - period. It's just not consistent.
