HMS Forward

This is my favourite map in Peril (map2). It serves as the skill select area.

It features HMS Forward (the tunnel complex), which was a real radio base used during WW2 by the Navy Wrens.

I used to go down there as a teenager 1994 and 1995, and it scared the hell out of me. I always wanted to recreate the place in a game.

After the war the base was abandoned, and now it's entrances are all blocked off. The radio equipment and servers were obviously not there during WW2, but I wanted to make it feel real, so the idea is that the base never shut down.

When I play this it sends a shiver down my spine, as those dark empty corridors are still there right now.
