Order of Saint Canute

Hi, I'm uploading this level as part of a student project: https://www.quaketastic.com/files/oosc_sp.zip

It's a 5-7 minute level in a monastery inspired by Santa Maria Novella in Florence. Here is a link to screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/9fkf2nxqsppv … QV9ja?dl=0

I have only tested the level on the newest version of Quakespasm so other versions might not work.

Hope you enjoy the level and all feedback is welcome

I've downloaded this and will play it soon. Really interested in seeing this monastery come alive. Not sure I've been to this one but I've been to Florence a couple of times. Cool stuff!

An interesting level, but closer to its end there is not enough atmospheric lighting at the level. In the last arena everything becomes very bright.

Fun, with nineties' crude vibes, although it has quite some detail. Played with Mark V, no problem.
Cool getting the Rocket Launcher at the beginning. I can't recall having played a map where you get the Rocket Launcher fresh early.
I let the Shambler up in the cage have some, and when the cage lowered, he was easier to take down. :)

Pretty fun to play and has an interesting origin, the only minor complaint and possible nitpick is the fact that the map is leaking.

What "I Like Quake" said above and more. I really enjoyed this map.  I think the gameplay was spot on and unique in that you limited yourself to just 5 monsters. Not the most beautiful map every made, but the gameplay more than made up for it. The monster count bug is a well known bug in the original game so no worries there.

Demo recorded in Ironwail 0.6.0 which is Protocol 999 by default https://www.quaketastic.com/files/misc/oosc-dt-1.zip

Congratulations on a really fun map.
