A tumblr tribute to the orginal Quake maps

June has started, and Quake's twentieth birthday is drawing near.

Quaddicted member trumad, who maintains a tumblr blog of Quake map screenshots (see also this thread), is posting screenshots of the original id maps in order throughout the month of June. It's a simple yet creative tribute to the maps that started it all.

Head over to Quake Maps if you feel like a daily dose of nostalgia throughout this month, or click here to start at the first of June (reduced size version of trumad's screenshot of Welcome to Quake/start.bsp reproduced below with permission).
