Trenchbroom Mapping Problems - Quake One - System cannot find the file

==================Please Help===========================================================

Hello, I have begun to create maps on Quake using Trenchbroom and the very small one room maps worked fine but as i made the map larger and changed the texture alignments, it no longer loads and gives me the error "system cannot find the file" and "bad surface extents", I have checked for leaks and corrected any I can see, but it still does not load, any help  would be much appreciated as I was able to program doors and teleporters but I am stuck on this one issue, I have heard something on another forum about brushes not automatically clipping, thought this might be a possible problem but as I am very new I have no idea.

Re: Trenchbroom Mapping Problems - Quake One - System cannot find the file

This is an accident waiting to happen. It's looking in drive "E" instead of "C" I just finished a very large map myself, using the Trenchbroom version released in early March of 2019. The "cannot find the specified file" came up every time, and I don't know why. It made no difference in the end. Couldn't find any "surface extents" problems.
