Then there are the azymuth profiles.
I was looking for a way to add a new skybox to Quake without loosing the original one.
So I made a static entity of a wide balloon that would fit over 1024x1024 and projected a skybox on it.
By using the 256 frame option of the entity it could turn around in its own surrounding.
Imagine yourself inside it as the azimuth turns around you.
It does jitter a bit but now I can make a map with more rooms than one skybox in it.
You can download the model on quaketastic.

Oh man!  There's some really cool work in this thread.  Have you ever considered making some good old fashioned machinima?  It's about time there's a machinima renaissance.  I mean, every other retro thing has been strip mined... be ahead of the curve. :P

Just heard my homepage will be expired end july 2023.
Hard to receive the news, but it seems as if the novelty inquiers to do so.
No way to change it, as the bandwith war with Telecom & Microsoft goes on.

I could ask Spirit to make a sitemap for quake entities,
but as I'm the only fool to do so there is not much chance to it.

So download all you can as long as possible, after that time it will be gone.

It is not my entire homepage.
All quake maps are already on quaddicted.
It are only the quake entities I'm concerned.

Quaddicted is more a map archive.
At least mods found their home.
Quake entities are more a specific item.

Quaddicted is much more than "just" the maps archive at https://www.quaddicted.com/reviews/ ! And hopefully in the future the other archives will have similarly nice webpages.

Without being selfish I have a load of other entities by now. Just can't help it. They keep coming. Only now I can't update rhem anymore.

Same goes for statics. They're such an eye candy for squeezing up a map design. And do need that little data cost. Say info_null and you could cramp more than 200brushes in them.
