Re: dark oddyssey

Is this a standalone map for id1?
It would be good if you included a readme with at least some information like author, date, play/installation info and your contact details. Here are some templates that you can edit directly or just use for ideas:
https://www.quaddicted.com/files/idgame … s/base.txt
http://www.quaketastic.com/files/tools/ … MPLATE.txt

Edit: It's also considered good practice to include the map source. If you're using TrenchBroom this will be a .map file. See this video about releasing your map: https://youtu.be/eQ911Wphy0Q

I played it and it's a nice first map, with decent layout and reuse of space. The main criticism I have is the one-way drop at the end, which stops the player from going back to look for secrets.

If this is a new map, you may want to repackage it like h724 wrote. The steps are summarized here: https://www.quaddicted.com/help/how_to_ … ase_a_file These steps need to be followed for the map to be added to Quaddicted's database.

If it is a beta map and you want help in testing you have to say so.

In my case i cannot open MEGA links so cannot try it. Will see what i can do.
