Simple construction, very low level of detail, only a couple of textures have been used along the map, making it to look even simpler. Quite claustrophobic corridors. Monsters placement is rather obvious. Don't waste your ammo or you will see yourself fighting with your Axe. Well... nevermind, +25HP medkits are almost in every room. I can't give it more than 2 stars because even the most simple Quake 1 origimal maps are better in all aspects.
I was really bored, could have used some kind of objective or something.
Not terrible, but the symmetrical layout and repetitive texturing make this really bland. And ammo is in short supply, so be prepared to axe knights whenever possible.
Thanks for the advice JMP, Happy new year, hahahaha.
I did not care for this quake map either as i found the level design to be too narrowing and confusing. The brushwork within the level was too plain and did not add enough variety to the level design of the map. Only positive thing i can say about this map is i like the custom sky texture that the level designer has created within this map that matches the overall theme of the level. Overall i would only give this map a two out of five rating and would recommend skipping this map as there are other quake maps on the quaddicted archive that are worth playing through.
