Very worth level, as for power ups rather easy one. I hate when they place health packs in front of your way but everything looks nice here. There's boath caves and main castle thrones areas. I didn't get that "meet the screw" message, but quad damage was quite enough. 3 good secrters make it more comfortable and exploring interested. Good and detailed TEXT file. So 2.5=3+1 equals 4 happy Shamblers out of 5!
There are a couple of great ambushes, and the secrets are clever, but the map is anachronistic--it feels like something that came out in '96 or early '97. The texturing is plain, for instance.
It's also clearly designed for deathmatch, and while the conversion to single-player is done well, it still feels like a deathmatch arena rather than a real place.
By modern standards, short and pretty easy -- though the fiend ambush did take me down to single-digits health. The progression is strange and unpredictable, and feels like a sequence of random places that the author thought would be fun to build. Honestly, there's no really much reason to play it in 2018 ... but maybe that's not surprising 20 years after it was created.
Dwell Ep2 when?
