i only disliked one thing: ((SPOILER?))

why would i get the silver key at all if i can just walk the ledge to the gold key? ...i went back for the silver key anyway.

Played in nightmare. 2/4 secrets. One monster was spared from death.

Very solid map. Brushwork is good for the year, coherent, and well done, but a bit cramped in some places. Layout is mainly linear with some choices. Combats were fun and varied, with ambushes from time to time. Hazard have a more standing out role in this map. Amount of ammo/health is lower than ID maps, there is barely any need to backtrack most of the time. Difficulty around ID maps. The secrets are well placed with appropriate rewards, but are only for those with both courage and curiosity.

4+

Really nice for 1997, and still plays pretty well now. If I had one complaint (beyond the passage of time and raising of expectations) it would be that too much of the map felt cramped. But still a good blast.

Very nice, and same comment as dBAudio regarding the silver key. Tension was high and probably increased by the music I was playing while trying to survive. I had a great time!

A really cool map, probably my favorite of J.F. Gustafsson's 1990s maps. The brushwork, progression, secrets, etc. are all good. The overall design reminds me of Beyond Belief's medieval maps.
