The Wherehouse
A small brown metal floater, feels more like a DOOM map.Tags: small, metal, spacemap, beta

I actually found this map rather charming. I think it's one of the first space maps, so it's got a unique setting for the time. I especially liked this one floorplate that opened like a camera shutter; that was really cool! B)
Its gameplay is competent and pretty fun, and since it was supposed to be a part of an episode, the short duration isn't that much of an issue. But as a standalone map, sure, it's too short.
However, it does look rather rough around the edges, even for its time, and it's a little bit incomplete, lacking dm and coop functionality. Still, this map showed quite a bit of potential for the whole episode.
Lame; but lame in a fun way.
Decent short quake map from 1997 that was part of a larger episode for quake that was never released from the level designer. This map was fun to play through and i enjoyed the unique space theme that was created by this mapper. Worth it if you want to play a classic quake map that was unique and different from the early days of the quake modding scene. This map gets a three out of five rating from me.
Well done level. Lots of great textures. Good action.
