Not really worthy of a release of its own, but I'm glad it exists. Someone ought to gather this up with ikspq1-5 and put them in a single release.
I agree with Mike. Not really worthy of a stand alone release. I wonder why Iikka never packaged these IKSPQ and IKGUNS files as a full episode.
Maybe because he never completed the episode? As it is, it wouldn't be narratively coherent anyway: base maps in episodes are typically set at the beginning, not at the end, and it feels really weird to get back to a base after the 4 previous maps.
Please put the whole package for us.
Judging by the previous comments, it seems that this isn’t common knowledge (I myself discovered it completely by accident), but if you download all six IKSPQ maps, put them all into id1, and boot up IKStart, it will actually continue onwards into IKSPQ1, and further onwards from there until IKSPQ5, which then will loop indefinitely. It’s pretty nifty, and it gives an actual reason to download this very handsome start map, which would otherwise, of course, be useless.
