House of Spikes
Just like Biff's previous map imp1sp1 this one is a beauty. The brushwork and texturing are perfect. Gameplay-wise it is very nice too.Tags: metal

Lovely!
i liked this map much better than his previous map: The Corral.
I found this pleasant but uninspiring. In the best levels, it feels like you're exploring a real place. This is the opposite: a set of enjoyable but arbitrary set-pieces.
The secret at the very end is nice, though.
This is a solid map. Nice brushwork (which is typical Biff) and good variety.
Just a great old school metal map in my opinion. In fact, the look is beyond old school. Gameplay was also satisfying, even if it was fairly linear with some small interconnections. Maybe there's more impressive maps out there, even ones from 2001, but for me this just ticked all the right boxes for a metal map somehow.
Just right.
Classic Metal map that's about as good as Penile Devastation.
