Interesting levels. 4/5 though it's really close to 5.

Great atmosphere injection from Doom. Loved the quiet parts - I didn't feel that this map constantly wanted to trap me like some maps do. I like that too, but a welcomed change.

The final was pretty good :). There were some fantastic rooms spread all over the map.

this is not quake. this is doom with a better engine and gameplay. far beyond excellent. only complaint is that I got stuck on the wrong end of the lift to the "shaft lock" control after triggering the button on purpose (and I'm likely not the only one since it seemed like an obvious spot for a secret).

Strange, but somehow this one just doesn't really do it for me the way most of Necros's maps do. (He's one of my favourite mappers.) Something about it feels like an arbitrary sequence of set-pieces, whereas his best work has much more of a sense of place. Still worth 4/5 though.

It isn't my favorite from necros but it's well worth playing. Probably the best map out there that has a truly Classic Doom texture theme (though there aren't that many I know of to be fair).
