neat idea. i though the end was too easy.
Played in nightmare. 2/3 secrets found
Good on ideas and brushwork, decent at lighting and combats. Harder than ID maps in the future, around ID maps on the past part. The map is tight on ammo on the future part if you miss a secret.
The brushwork at the last room make an interesting combat.
I think this level deserves more than average rating!
The whole layout is quite nice, with surprises like changing from base to medieval theme. I don't approve the use of so many teleporters for such a short map, but I guess the authors sees it that way. And last, but not least I especially enjoyed the underwater section and the transition from it to land section. And yes, almost at the very end there are those silly traps, but not as annoying as in lastgame.
This is j.f Gustafsson's best quake map that he has released thus far by chronological order. This level has great brush work and texture design as well compelling level design as well. I also enjoyed the varety of themes within this level as well as it transitions from base to medevil.I would highly recommend downloading this map and would give it a four out of five rating.
