Although this is not a great map, I'd say the current editor's description (Ugly, boring, stupid. Stargate "theme".) is a little harsh.
The main gimmick is neat and is a novel take on traversing the disparate worlds of the Quake universe.
The rest of the map is not bad, but under-detailed and underpopulated for its size, often with uninspired lighting. Additionally, the map supplies you with nails, yet there is no nailgun or super nailgun to be found, including in the secret area (which is ridiculously hard to spot in my opinion; I only saw it after noclipping through the entire map a few times and don't think I would have ever found it without cheating).
It is better than DAV's other pop-sci-fi-inspired Quake map, qkship, but no better (and perhaps slightly worse) than qktower, qkfort, qkhouse or qkmetro.
