Deepest Oblivion v3
Small dark wizard-themed level in a classic id1 style with some puzzle elements for vanilla Quake. An update of Deepest Oblivion (2019). Map source is included."Originally released in 2019, this was my first Quake level in 19 years. While making it I experimented with various setpieces, and while looking up the details of the Quake engine I learned about a bunch of tricks that mappers have used in the past. I may have put a few too many gimmicks in there.
I'm not very satisfied with how the level ends, but the original boss I had planned didn't work out in practice. Maybe next time.
Due to the logic and special effects used, this level will have some small issues with mods like Copper that change the behaviour of the game."
