NOTE: This won't work in Quake Injector, it must be installed manually. See install notes.Small sci-fi base themed underground research facility. Built on Copper v1.19 (already included but with the default folder name; see install notes). Difficulty settings are not implemented. The author's first release.
"This is my first map! Very Half-Life inspired, if it wasn't blatantly obvious. I've been sitting on it for a while and figured it was time to finally release it. I was planning on multiple difficulties and deathmatch spawns and all that stuff but I never really got around to it, maybe in a future update, but for now I've been told it's pretty tough so be prepared! It's only compatible right now with Copper v1.19, newer versions break it. However the QuakeC is entirely unmodified, things like automatic monster infighting were entirely done using some trickery with triggers which I'm pretty proud of. [...] Quake acrobatics such as bhopping, RJing, etc. are encouraged and taken into account in the design, although I'd love to see some tricks I hadn't thought of crop up. Please post your times and feel free to send me demos, I'd love to see how you guys tackle the level."
Install notes: This ZIP includes Copper v1.19 files in a mod folder called "copper". To avoid confusion, as well as overwriting an existing Copper install, you may want to rename this ZIP's "copper" mod folder to something like "savetheworld" before putting it in your Quake folder.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was tough, but that's one of the things I like about it. The ending required a bit of finesse, but very enjoyable!
I'm glad that you decided to finish it off and release it. Thanks for sharing with us and I'll be looking forward to your next offering!

There is Of couse room for improvement, but the imagination and creativity is there!
