Security Base
A small base map. The brushwork is promising but the gameplay is a bit boring.Tags: small, idbase

The map is decent, as long as the brightness is tuned to the maximum, as i needed to do that even though i played it at night.
I don't see the brushwork as promising. In my opinion is a bit below iD maps.
Rather jolly, though it's over rather too soon, and rather abruptly. Feels very much like a dry-run for SIMMER2, which of course it exactly what it is. That one is definitely better.
I find the description above a tad confusing, because the gameplay didn't seem boring (unless you consider fiends and spawns jumping out of the shadows "boring"). I actually found it entertaining and 65-75 enemies in a smallish map is pretty healthy. Several of the rottweilers were reinforced too, requiring more rounds to go down than normal.
However, I do agree with Cocerello that there are several areas that are rather dark and could use more contrast. Nothing was pitch black though. Not bad!
