Episode with eight mostly small oldschool levels including a start map, each in various classic Quake themes. It comes with custom music tracks by Alientale. The map sources are included.Note: One of the levels (sq5) requires a source port with increased limits.

Great episode, especially for reminiscing. This one's easy-breezy.
New episode with new soundtrack and oldschool level design. Great from start to finish. Shows how timeless OG Quake artstyle and level design really was.
(from func_msgboard)
Good episode. I always enjoy smaller maps, and these ones have some fun vertical layouts. The secrets were also very fun to find, although as others have pointed out they are too generous with items. I had red armour and was overhealed for what I suspect was most of my time with this, and also had an excess of rockets. My other main criticism is that I thought it strange to have a secret exit in what would otherwise be the last map.
That aside, you've proven yourself a capable and tasteful mapper and I'm excited to see what you'll do next.
Great episode. THANKS
This was a great set of maps. Lots of cool secrets. The maps were small and fun with a lot of variety. Nothing fancy in the visual department which is ok by me as some of the more elaborate maps tend to bore me after a while.
Well done!

This one is a great example of classic quake map design, with a lot of secrects and good balance. Excepting quad damage secrets - I couldn't find any worthy opponent after I got quad. Anyway, it wasn't a big problem - episode was enough easy for me even on nightmare difficulty. It was fun to play and you did a great job. Thank you!
Tidily done, even cutesy id-styled / id-scaled throwback episode that is full of nostalgic fun. I'd have prefered fewer secrets though, even though they are fun to discover, the abundance of resources makes the gunplay even easier than it already is. Had an issue with the two rune buttons that open up the teleporter that takes the player to the void, had to noclip to that section - though that may very well be a QSS thing, or the fact that I was playing the episode through Copper.
This is really really good. The last two maps, with the amazing soundtrack, made me feel like I was playing e3/e4 for the first time again. Kudos!
The secrets were fun, although they were a bit too much and led to me being an unbalanced, overpowered player. But that was fun ;) Many felt like they were serving secrets tropes in the best way possible.
This was a nice surprise! This is a very well-made and fun-to-play mini-episode, and I can only hope for more from this author.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the maps in this pack, but I have to say that The Sorcerer's Halls really did give me the creeps.
The only niggle I have is that I did feel a bit over-provisioned almost all the time though, so the gameplay wasn't really challenging.
Thank you for sharing this with us!
Like a steaming cup of tea and a soft blanket on a frigid morning. Love it.
A little easy on nightmare, admittedly. I agree with the general consensus in the reviews here.
Agree with every single comment so far! It;s lovely little set of maps, and I always enjoy the generosity of including a secrets guide. That said, they are ludicrously over-provisioned, even if you miss the secrets, and way too easy even on Nightmare. But these are failings of generosity, and therefore easy to forgive! More of this kind of thing, please!
This was great. Small maps, not too difficult (but still challenging). As others have observed, the more secret hunting you do, the easier it gets. Wonderful, OG Quake style and lighting... I love small episodes like this.
Very good play!! I only wish there were some new enemies/weapons, for it to feel more... fresh)
Nearly perfect oldschool style episode with a lot of variety in areas and encounters. Finding secrets is the highlight of this set of levels.
Only downside here is the incredibly generous amount of rockets and red armors from secrets. Could've easily had more monsters and less resources on hard difficulty.
I had a blast with this episode. Fun small vanilla like maps with many relatively easy to find secrets (the way I like them) and great map variety.
I had fun in the first level, but In the second, I had an issue where I could not grab the blue key without a game crash, I would just give myself the key, but I want to actually play through the map without using cheats. but overall, apart from the crashes, I enjoyed my time playing
A few small maps with barely hidden secrets that will be fairly easy to complete even in Nightmare. Still, it was a nice change of pace from Dwell or the huge, hard and overcrowded maps I've taken to playing lately.
I agree with Mazu on how generously ammo is thrown at you.
incredible
I'm playing this small episode again and I just like it.
A very pleasant episode, short, easy, only slightly pushing traditional Quake visual and level design. Levels are linear most of the time, with a somewhat recurring structure. The ending is very cute as well.
Thanks a lot!
Suffers the same problem of being too easy that Epochs of Enmity and Empire of Disorder do. However, this is probably better than both of those. The level of detail is great at a simple, old school level. It's more consistent than those other two, as well. It sticks to vanilla texture themes, but each of those is approximated perfectly. It feels like something that could have come out slightly after Beyond Belief if there had been another mapper releasing great Quake episodes back then. I recommend playing on Hard, as it feels pretty much like Normal anyway.
Played on skill 3. What a great set of maps, old i.d style. Put a big smile on my face.
