Guess they are not going to do any mindblowing games anymore then sad indeed.

Atleast we can look forward to homeworld remastered should come out in the next month or so.
If you newer tried it go for it at its time it was known as the best space RTS ever made, some say it still is.
The story is also pretty good, and theres loads of it hehe.

I don't know what to say. It doesn't looks bad, but looks too similar to Doom 3 (with more wide open areas though) to my taste.
It's like someone trying to make Brutal Doom in Doom 3. Also, QTE-like slowndowns when switching weapons (clearly a console-oriented "feature").
The player uses some kind of robotic armor (wtf?), Halo-style. :/

OTOH the SnapMap tool sounds interesting.

Ah i remember that one great times.

Consoles are pretty much the mainstay these days, allmost makes one feel the urge these companies have to return to the days of non disclosure and only for X companies hardware eh ?.
Dumb thing about it is that hardware wise the consoles are pretty much 5 to 6 generations behind current PC hardware,
but they are easier to develop for because said hardware rarely changes at the same pace a PC's hardware might.

As for the game, ill reserve my critic for when i tried it myself but you bring up valid points non the less.

Hehe evil ash allways cracked me up xD the original movie was actually quite good effects aside.
I actually liked the whole evil dead series granted as a horror movie it was not so good, more of a parody but it brought a smile to my face.
Theres even a evil dead game but it has some rather annoying bugs (back from the days where console ports where complete crap) it was made by THQ and was called evil dead regeneration.
If you could actually get it to run it was quite funny.
(mentioned bug caused the keyboard and mouse to lock up if you followed the on screen message saying to hit enter to play, you need to use the spacebar instead to avoid that).
