what are you trying to do? routing?

most people use A* for that.
dijkstra's algorithm may be easier to understand.

both are explained well enough on wikipedia.

Thanks Spike! I was looking at Routing haha.
I had a very rough idea of Dijkstras algorithm in my head, but it wasn't as useful.
