Judging from the buzz on both here and terrafusion, I'm pretty sure that a qexpo would be a wild success. So let's get going. :D
First off, I'm not going to beat around the bush and say that I have a keen interest in being the host. But if that were to happen, the expo's date would need to be August (way too many plates spinning in June/July for me), which, I think, would be in the best interest of everyone wanting to take part? Because if we announced a June date now, it could be a bit too short notice, whereas a late August date gives everyone six months to prepare.
That, and the former expo hosts whom I'm going to bug quite a lot are also going to be busy in the coming months, as far as I can tell. ;-)
Don't care much where it's hosted as long as it's stable and reliable. quakewiki.net would probably be the way to go, then.
Perhaps a splash page with something like "August 2014" can be posted on expo2014.quakewiki.net? :D
