Whenever I am playing E1M7 (Chthon - last level in Quest mode) by myself, and I pause to let some cells recharge for too long, I get the phone jack image and no further action occurs in the level. However when this happens, I can still look around but it's in matrix style freeze motion...
The only way to continue playing is to disconnect and reconnect... but upon reconnection, the server is in deathmatch mode (was previously in quest mode) on start.bsp (???)
Even if I defeat Chthon quickly, when I'm by myself playing the level, the end sequence with the camera panning out doesn't trigger correctly... can anyone else verify and potentially fix this behavior?? I'd like to play hyper easy and hyper nightmare in one sitting alone if necessary
