"You have been assigned a mission to locate and destroy a Strogg chemical factory.  The Strogg seem to have found a way to make fuel from slime.  If they manage to use this technology they will have infinite fuel for their war machine!  They must not succeed!
Your mission:
Locate the factory, infiltrate and stop it.  We have found the hangar the Strogg use to supply the factory.  Get in, follow the supply route and stop the pumps...  Good luck!" ~Wiebo de Wit

Wiebo De Wit serves up another tasty offering in the form of a meaty two level pak entitled "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome" (IAO).

Following the very satisfying "The Strogg Downfall", IAO offers gritty architecture with fun, intelligent gameplay.

Wiebo also packs in a certain subtlety that is not found in most other level creations. IAO is much more than a hack and slash frag fest. If you are planning to just wade in and blast away while you make your way running and jumping from room to room, well you got another thing coming. Strategy and a bit of backtracking are in order here. Don't let this throw you off either though. IAO is definitely not a game of chess, it just tosses in a healthy mix of strategy and combat.

Health and ammo are available in just the right amount. And there are plenty of interactive and moving objects to keep you interested while you figure out what to do next. IAO is a fine piece of work. Wiebo comes through again.

Engrossing gameplay. Gritty and well built architecture.
Some thinking required. May turn off the less cerebral.
A fine example of strategy and gameplay presented in a gritty and pleasing architectural package.

This is one impressive hanger.
Grimy gritty filthy pump. Watch out or you're gonna get grease all over your mouse.

It's a sort of futuristic elevator. Smart design except the call button is over a gaping shaft!
