"Deep space in orbit around a binary star system"

Command has captured a small Strogg supply shuttle. The shuttle was on automatic pilot destined for a undeciverably coded unknown destination in deep space?

You are to cleanse and take control of whatever ship this shuttle rendezvous' with. The element of surprise will be on your side!  Contact Command once you have control of the target ship and a crew will be sent to relieve you and pilot the captured Strogg ship to base.~Neil Manke (excerpted from text file)

"SlaughterShip" heralds the return of Neil Manke to the scenic vistas of outerspace first mined in the groundbreaking "Starship" and "Starship2" for Quake1. The Starship series remains a wildly popular level set here at the Hotel and on the single player Quake scene at large.

With "SlaughterShip" Neil doesn't just break new ground, he splits it - grand canyon style - wide open.

"SlaughterShip" is a tour de force. Manke has presented the Quake2 gaming community with a level experience. Replete with cutscenes, a believable space freighter (uh.. space torture chamber or should i say slaughterhouse), interactive switches, vehicles, ladders, walkways, hatches, slippery pools of blood, a whole slew of new sounds and blood curdling screams, I could go on and on so lets just say there is plenty to experience and interact with here.

Gameplay is fresh with a good mix of Strogg opponents... even the aquatic variety are found here held in a large aquarium. Wonder what they feed em?

Settings aboard the ship run the gamut from the humorous, to grotesque, to inspirational. Try and pass by one of those large glass enclosed panoramic picture windows, I couldn't do it.

Pray that Neil feels the force and brings us a sequel.
A return to the very popular Manke space setting.
You may not be able to appreciate other levels after playing this gem.
Manke's masterpiece. Can even Manke top this one?

Welcome aboard the SlaughterShip.

A glass enclosed walkway and several Strogg crew members arrive to greet you.
A recent run in with an asteroid shower has damaged part of the ship and spilled its cargo into space.
Brains on the bridge.
