Quake Support:

    How to run custom levels:
    Create a new folder under your id1 folder and name it maps. Extract the .bsp file into your maps folder. Load Quake and bring down the console using the tilde (~) key. Type “map (name of map)”
    (ex: map ikspq5).

    How to run .pak files:
    Create a new folder under your Quake folder and name it something you can remember, usually the name of the .zip file. Extract the .pak file into this folder. Load Quake from dos prompt with -game
    (ex: quake -game alk05)

    How to run mods:
    You can run user created mods in the same fashion that you run .pak files.

    Enable transparent water in GLQuake:

    How to cheat:
