FULL REVIEW:
This is a very good cube SP map, it was included with the original release of CUBE, and is clearly designed to show off the potential of Cube SP gameplay and it does this very well. We have once again the familiar "egyptian temple" type textures and architecture. The level is not really that big, but is well designed so that it feels bigger than it is. The layout is really only 3 or 4 large rooms linked by hallways, but the design is well done.

Gameplay is quite hard overall, this is largely due to the excellent placement of monsters, lots of ogros and also some of the small tough rhino enemies, to surprise you in corners and lots of baals firing rockets at you in the bigger rooms. Ammo and Health is also quite tight and well judged (not too much or too little). The main area which will challenge most players and shows off the good gameplay is a large watery room, with a number of pillars in it. Firstly, you have to clear the room of all the Ogros and Baals, once you have done this you face a tricky journey across the tops of the pillars which must be accomplished without falling into the water below (otherwise you have to go back to the start and try again).

Having made the perilous journey across the pillars your reward is to be thrust into another Hall packed with ogros and Baals, this "ambush" style gameplay is classic Doom/Quake (and now Cube!) style, and works just as well here as it allways has done. The end is slighty anti-climatic (only 2 baals), but this is still a great CUBE SP level.

Overall Score: 16/20

Overall Verdict - A decent map, you use the teleporters to move through a succession of smallish arenas, each one getting harder.

FULL REVIEW:
This map was one of the first to appear for cube, i think i am correct in saying it was bundled with the first cube release that featured a single player mode. Anyway it features quite a lot of nice design details, such as trees, open areas, water and varied architecture. The level basically consists of a series of small arenas, which the player progresses through by clearing each area of monsters and then teleporting to the next area. This is quite an interesting way to construct a map and allows quite a lot of variety between the various areas, although it does tend to give the level a less *cohesive* feel as a single flowing gameplay experience, and instead it does tend to make it feel slightly disjointed.

Still, its a decently implemented map, with lots of interesting design and layout in the architecture and structures that the player blasts his way through. Gameplay is not too hard and is good fun as you fight your way through each area. Overall this map is a decent length challenge; nothing spectacular but its still a lot of fun =).
