I thought it was as hard as a boss could get. But then when I finally got past him and reached Death, I realized Frankenstein was easy in comparison. Even easier on subsequent play throughs, since I had had a taste of the next boss. I think the difficulty is actually from having to make a near perfect run through the level in one go to have a chance at beating Death.

All this analysis is making me want to play this game again. It is still my favorite Castlevania game Great coverage, Mr. Parish. 🙂
