I was just wondering why this page never talks about Weapons Factory for Quake2. This is one of the best mods out there and is just as good as Team Fortress1 (if not better!).

(Editors note: Well Obsolete, we are a TF site, not Quake, not Weapons Factory, not Mega TF, not Quake 2, etc... We try to give news about Team Fortress only. Occasionally we do mention other things that may be TF related. And as far as Weapons Factory being just as good as TF, that may be so. We don't deny that. We admit nothing either. Gets you in trouble. We obviously believe Team Fortress is the best mod out there. Thats why we torture ourselves and destroy our home life and slave away and act foolish for our age..... you can stop me any time here........ )

    Okay, now for a bit of a question/compliant. Where has all the skill gone?? I play TF at least 2 hours daily (after fixing computers all fricken day there isn't anything more relaxing than taking peoples heads off with a sniper rifle ehehe.) and if there is 1 thing I have noticed these past 2 months is that Spamming has basically taken over TF. All these unskilled newbies get a hold of those mirvs and all the napalm grenades and just run around spamming respawns. What happened to the old days where everyone used their supply in reserve instead of excess. When people tried to actually kill someone in one shot instead of setting a whole room ablaze hoping someone walks into the mess. Is there some way that there can be put a leash on all this skilless fraggin?

(Editors note: Ya, good point. There is no way to stop spamming as quite a few players think it is perfectly ok to do that. You can only hope to live through the onslaught and kill the bastas. Or resort to their tactics. Or go to a different server. I know there is no sense in trying to talk sense into a player if he thinks his tactics are sound. Honor in TF is a rare thing for the most part. That seems to be the rule rather than the exception on public servers.)

just thought I'd say I dont like either of the 2 boxes proposed for TF2, they look like the old comunist recruiting posters n' stuff from the world wars.

(Editors note: Nah... The commies did not wear those cool uniforms and brain buckets. They also did the goose stomp or something and had all kinds of leg trouble because of that. As you can see in the pictures, the soldiers have their sleeves rolled up and that is something cool that I think the Americans invented actually. If you look closely you can see that one of them actually has a pack of Marlboro cigarettes stuffed in his rolled up sleeve.)
