I like wide places very much. These Anonca maps are very enjoyable.

A 97's map with a very simple doomish architecture with nice gameplay, ID maps diffculty and some original ideas in both architecture and combat. Nice for a quick play.

Very unique texture and layout. A little bit too easy, even on hard. Maybe some better monster combination and traps. The acid part was a little ambiguous. No one jumps on the acid without some indication.

Maybe put the enviromental suit outside the acid pool.

Cool map, enjoyed it a lot. And even thinking that this was done two decades ago it's very impressive.

Kind fun, but very 1997. Lots of wide open spaced with not much in them. I enjoyed the causal way the runes were tossed in.

How do I get the third rune in the area with the two shamblers and the weird tilted sculpture? There is a lift above but there seems to be no way to lowering it.

*to lower

Hope you've found out by now, RunRune, that the "lift" is a bridge, and goes nowhere. You need to do some creative jumping to climb the sculpture.

... so anyway, LOVED this one. Not usually a fan of "base" maps, but this one is creatively abstract and weird. Final battle is challenging, too.
