some neat ideas. the lava 'trap' got me on the second try.
This is being quite a frustrating experience for me. I was killed by a lava trap once, and I assume that's where I need to go, but I cannot find that place again. The teleporter pit has brought me to a couple of different places but there's nothing to do there any more. I know (from noclipping) that I need to get the silver key before the gold one, but I can't see how to access the place where the silver key is, so I guess I need to be teleported there. But how? Should the teleporter pit bring me there? Is the mechanism broken?
Answering my own question: either the teleporter pit changes its destination after some time or it selects its destination randomly. In any case, if you're unlucky, you will have to go through it many times before it brings you to where you want to go. And, of course, each time you have to backtrack to it, which is not trivial. Not a fun map to play through, even if it does some things right. It took me more than an hour (in-game time) to finish it.
"Several jumps - Several destinies" It might have slipped your attention. When you choose the right back corner you end up well. Fortunately everyone jumps in the middle, that's why it seems so obvious. I must admit the game play is rather confusing, but I made it with a sense for exploring. Sorry if you lost your way.
I didn't realize "Several jumps - Several destinies" meant more than what I already knew, namely that jumping again might take you elsewhere. It seems obvious in retrospect, though.
(By the way, it would be nice to be notified when someone comments in a map I've commented or at least to have a direct link to maps I've commented.)
It would be nice, but this is a website that has mostly stayed the same for nearly 15 years.
