Cogs Of Conflict
A nicely designed metal map with experimental gameplay. Instead of fighting the monsters directly, the player has to take a more stealth-based approach and lure them into traps.Tags: metal, traps, stealth, experimental, medium, speedy, unique

Thoroughly enjoyed this. (I think it might have been even better had the game started with only a single shotgun shell.) It's a delight to play something so very different from regular Quake, but which is still so recognisable as the game we love. It's a real shame that spd doesn't seem to have created any other maps.
Ha, that was nice! Love alternative styles of play required to complete a map. As it turns out, I'm awful at stealth, and had to reload a bunch. Inspiring.
This map is extremely neat. Not your typical run-&-gun. You have to sneak around and use your brain. A couple "hit the button and then quickly jump up over here" bits were a pain, but doable after some patient attempts. Well built and original in concept. Excellent little map!
