dkt1000.zip - 1000 Brush/Winter map pack

1000 Brush mapping event, December 2004: the goal was to make a SP map using not more than 1000 brushes and DKTe3 textures.
As a result there are five about medium-sized maps by Blitz, Jago, Headthump, Hrimfaxi and Zwiffle, as well as a simple start map. Map sources are included.

Lots of interesting maps here. The winter theme was very interesting. 4/5 for the whole though a few were 5/5.

The textures are pretty dated and unattractive, being low-res. The maps are mostly castle themed, so not much variety here. Just not that interesting in 2016.

Oddly had flashbacks playing a couple of these maps in coop, so they must have been on RQuake Coop or something.
