This level could be better, but stupid mistakes spoiled it. At first, the author forgot (or he just didn't know about it?) to set Gold Key and Silver Key flags in doors properties. At second, there is annoying platform in the level end that by some strange reason can move up and down constantly. Also, before map starts, console shows errors in entities: the author made typo and created a couple of light

flouro instead light_
fluoro.Although, that all fixable, and if you want, you can download the fixed map (though, I don't know what to do with that func

plat, so this problem still remain). I've done it using "ripent" from Zoner's Half-Life Tools (this utility doesn't work with BSP v.29 (1D), but you can change version using any HEX editor). What about map itself... Well, design is OK, there are interesting things, e.g. some kind of ladder and strange big construction under ceiling in the last room. Gameplay is less interesting, the level is just too small and you can done it in about minute if you ignore sideways.
This is a huge improvement over his last map Keep it Dark. Watch me play it here: EldenCross on The Quake Grave
Yeah, F3rn explained this perfectly, it's tiny and boring. The gameplay is very average and the visuals aren't very interesting apart from the last room. Not really worth playing.
There's some nice architecture in this map and it has some decent battles but overall it's too small. The last room is a bit irritating to get through. The doors also open way too slowly. Not really worth playing. 2/5
This map has a few nifty rooms and a few tricks like air tunnel gimmicks and an early attempt at a ladder, but it lacks challenge and seems a bit wonky and broken in spots.
Liked the beginning, it was something I don't see very often.. needed more zombie battles. No unlockable doors? Felt very tiny - and misses something important.. Rating 2.25/5
The first room looks great and has a strong atmosphere, but after that the map turns into an arbitrary sequence of rooms and corridors with blah combat. There are some really interesting ideas--e.g. the ladder and wind tunnel mentioned in previous comments--but IMO they aren't put together in a cohesive way.
Decent small 1996 metal map that is much better than the level designer's previous level "keep it dark". Interesting ideas such as the ladder you have to climb to get to a top portion of the level or the implementation of a wind tunnel that you as the player have to use to get to the other part of the map. Also, I liked the final battle room that included combating enforcers, grunts and two shamblers. Thankfully the level designer provides the player with the lightening gun for that combat situation. I would recommend playing this 1996 metal themed map and give it a 3 out of five rating.
