Very, very well done. Realistic detail, never "overdetailed". Lights are greatly placed. Ambience of rusted, decayed base is achieved.
I give 4 stars because of some flaws that I would change, such as the easyness of falling to the slime, and the ending "room" could have a bit more construction detail like boxes, computers or similar.
Even when monster placement is nice, some monsters look a bit out of place in a base-style map.
Overall, is a very good map worthing to play, and if you like base maps, this will definetely make you enjoy a lot.
Never played this actually, but when i finally did, it was really cool.
Short, yes, but beautifully constructed and balanced. Highly recommended.
I really don't get what others (especially mfx, of all people!) see in this map. Even by 2004 standards it's pretty basic. Today it's just a small, unremarkable base map with non-base monsters thrown in. Also, some brushwork, notably those lights on the walls, can block the player's movements. I have played much better from Hrimfaxi.
Last but not least, you can break the map's intended flow by jumping on the pipe in the SK room and from there on the upper floor. Quite an oversight! Don't do that, people.
