Not the entire package, just this map
I don't get where this map is bugged at all, as i haven't had a problem with it, and the version here is not the ''bug free'' Yhe1 linked either.
On the other side, this map should be played after lfsp1, if not the ammo will be not enough or just barely there like Underworldfan says. In that regard, and to avoid other problems, i recommend playing after all the maps of this series have been copied to the Quake directory.
About this map, it doesn't improve much the previous one, as it becomes a bit more random in looks but overall is about the same level. The layout is decent and hides a bit some of the important weapons encouraging a bit of exploration. There is some nice mechanics and tricks that need the player to play cautiously before acting, some good Quad runs, and a heavy use of windtunnels in the last third.
Also, even with the ammo from the previous is a bit tight on it, so be careful. Also to consider some insta-death traps that are hard to avoid on the first run, but there are some cool mechanics here too.
A 4/4- for it.
I second Yhe1's comment. I got stuck in the map hosted on Quaddicted because only two of the four small buttons were available, the fixed version didn't give me any problem.
All 4 buttons are here and accessible in the "bugged" version. They're not just all at the same place on each pillar, and one even is on the wall! Two of them require slope-jumping from the slanted base of their respective pillar.
My problem resides elsewhere: after grabbing the SK and fighting the Scrag Squad™️, I'm stuck. The teleporter bars don't open and if I try to go back to the lift, it blocks my way and I can't go back down. Is this another bug or am I missing something?
OK, so after 100%ing the map, the bars not opening clearly aren't a consequence of a failed trigger, contrary to what I suspected. Not sure what's happening here but I will reserve my final judgement until after I've played the fixed version.
