Easily install and launch Quake maps with the cross-platform

A decent and pretty straightforward map, which would probably take most moderately experienced players no longer than a few minutes.
The dungeon-like location is convincing and atmospheric, and -- thanks to a logical, at times semi-symmetrical and in part visibly interconnected layout -- fairly easy to navigate. There are a few really steep staircases and a multi-layered section divided by a grid, which I particularly liked.
The monster population is a little sparse and I can see how some might complain about that, but it does help to maintain a sense of realism and an atmosphere of dread.
Sadly there is only one secret (and while it seems clever at first, the solution has been made far too obvious). This is a pity, since the setting really lends itself to hidden nooks and passageways.
Overall a good but not exceptional map; worth a download if you only have time for a quick round of Quake in between real world responsibilities.
i didn't notice any poorly aligned textures.
