All i can say is "wow !!!" 10 out of 5.Be prepared, for a shoot fest, with you the constant target full of body holes,no bugs great game play :))))))))))
Damn, this uses Quoth?! I thought it was AD watching Zigii's playthrough :'(
Is there a problem?
Nah, I just largely prefer AD's version of Quoth enemies.
I admired this more than I enjoyed it. There's a lot of great craftsmanship that's gone into the detailing, but as an actual gameplay experience I found it lacking — a bit too consistently brutal, and with constant low-ammo problems. (Things would probably have been different if I'd found the grenade-launcher secret right at the start.) Progression is logical, but feels a bit artificial.
And the constrained arena battle at the end ... I know levels need some kind of climax, but this sort of thing is just not my speed. I cleared the first wave, then all the fiends and shamblers warped in and I just thought, nah,
god
is the way to go.I hate to be negative, especially about a debut map, which this appear to be. But for me this is 90% of a really good map, and the missing 10% is gameplay. I wonder if it didn't get playtested much? Perhaps if it was mostly played by someone who knew were all the secrets were (I only got two) it would be much easier, or at least difficult in a more interesting way.
"Misc. Author Info : first release for Quake" Wow. Extremely detailed, tight, narrow, nasty suprises... This is wonderful. My best compliment to the author.
I thought this was a great map. Very stylish with colored lighting and modified textures that add to the old idbase theme. But the main thing I liked was in fact the action-packed gameplay. The layout is pretty intelligently-designed for it, in particular the way it uses space, as in the big battles that take places in areas you've backtracked to, expanded a bit with an unlocked door. The final battle (on skill 1) is on the tough side but not crazy or anything.
When I played this map I was so focused on the combat that I missed all the secrets, but that gives me another reason to revisit it.
Very fun map! Reminded me a bit of RickyT23's work, but on a smallest scale. I'll probably revisit it seeing as I only found 1/8 secrets. Lots of action on Hard, but manageable. If there is a Nightmare mode I didn't find it.
Love this map, great Job!!

This has to be my personal favorite base-themed map (perhaps tied with the excellent "The Crucial Error"). The ruddy aesthetic is complimented by an excellent attention to detail. It feels like a realistically cluttered space without interfering with the tight gameplay.
The difficulty was appropriate on hard and the touches of environmental storytelling were very unique.

Awesome map! Wish that it would've gone on a bit further to be honest. This is a good example how to make Quoth work with its tanky monsters. There is enough space for player to move around to fight on your own pace.
That final fight was incredibly fun. Great job.
